But in the check list it did not mention anything about the consent form!

1- May I know where can I download it from?

2- Also, we are using the scanned signatures that is copy/ pasted on all our documents. Are these accepted?

No. But still as per other members experience the application/checklist ask it. In that case no harm in attaching it whilst requesting in covering letter to treat it as proof of address/cohabitation instead a financial document because it contains the income which isn't relevant for immigration purposes in most cases.

Hi,

The bank statements that I am submitting are online copies (it looks like original and does not mention that these are online copies).

Do I still need to submit a 'letter from bank' mentioning that those are true copies of the original?

2,3,4) aren't mandatory whilst 1st could be sponsor's Brp & passport. See a sticky which might help you:

But it is a mandatory requirement that has been asked at the end of the application.

Details as under:

Letter of consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s)
A letter of consent that confirms:
the relationship between you and your parent(s)/legal guardian(s)
consent from your parent(s)/legal guardian(s) to the application
consent from your parent(s)/legal guardian(s) to the living
arrangements in the United Kingdom and the address where you will be
staying
whether one or both of your parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have
responsibility for you
Both parents/legal guardians must sign the letter of consent, except where
only one parent/legal guardian has sole responsibility for you.


After going through the above, do you think my letter has all the details that has been asked for?

Hi,
I submitted my family's online application on the 21st July. My son turned 18 on the 23rd July.

Though the biometrics dates are available in my home country, my family can only attend biometrics by 15th August.

Is that delay acceptable or does Home Office have a deadline for the biometrics, after submitting the online application.

Pre lockdown there was a deadline which won't be enforced given the current hazardous environment due to cvd19.

It was 45 days. There are several third party links through Google search to confirm it. But at the moment there is no deadline.

I have submitted the 6 months payslips and bank statements as requested.

But now I am getting another offer from a company with a good package.

Shall I take up this offer?

Does the guideline mentions anywhere that we have to stick in the same job till the outcome of the application?

Although the income/circumstances until the point of application matter but caseworker still expect the income earner to be with same employer until at least on their enquiry. Therefore, unless the new job isn't substantially thriving whilst remunerative don't join otherwise take the unpaid leave from present employer and join new employer.

The biometrics for the family settlement visa was done on 11th August (it was done in the home country).
On the same day I (sponsor) got an auto generated email from VFS that:
"Dear sir or madam,
The processed visa application for GWF no XXX was forwarded to UKVI on 11-08-2020. Please do not reply to this email as it is an auto generated email.
Regards,
VFS Global"


Till date I haven't received any acknowledgement from Home Office with regards to my application.

Is this normal or should the Home Office have sent an acknowledgement?
