I submitted my PP, TB.C and copy of HSMP approval letter on 27th May @ Gerrys Khi and got a Visa Consignment note.

I don't think contacting Gerrys would do any good.

Since FCO website states that it takes 6 weeks for applications submitted at Karachi office, therefore we should wait at least 6 weeks.

Hello EveryONe,
i submited my passport in last week of may and waiting my passport back.
i think some senior member can tell us better why they are taking that long after allowed appeal? also i know personally 2 famillies (visiting category) who submited thier passport in start of april and still no reply from BHC.
by the way gerry people told me one month time frame when i submited my passport.

Hi Guys

Eveyone here is waiting fo the return of there passports. As it is taking such a long time. Firstly has anyone considered going down to the Gerry's offices and checking if the passport has arrived? and secondly are people being selfish and not updating others when they recieve there passports. To date I have not read anyone stating they have collected there passport.

Hi Nilli,
well i visited VAC lahore 2 weeks before and my passport was not back.
by visiting we can only get our passport back maximum a week earlier, but here are people who are wating since march. so visiting gerry office does not help that much.
2ndly i dont think that people are that much selffish that they dont write if they get it. problem is they are not geting it just waiting....
i hear about a single case who get passpoart back recently else all other are waiting.

if anyone know any other case who get passport recently after appeal ?

We submitted passport for Appeal Family Visit case on 18 June and still waiting to get it back.

I called Gerrys few time last week and it is still in process. Same reply I get from BHC through email.

Hi Guys

Thanks for your comments. We submitted passport at Lahore first week of April and still not heard anything about collection. Email's received back from BHC and Gerrys stating still in process please wait. These are standard emails which they copy and paste to everyone. Anyone waiting longer than we are? We submitted passport with a calling letter for a visit visa. One friend of our's went to Islamabad last week and collected his passport after receiving a phone call on the same day. His visa was endorsed two months ago. Whilst he was there a few people did go there without the phone call and were handed there passports. This is the reason why we might try going down sometime this week.

i dont think one can go to BHC directly for geting back passport.
Nilli please correct me if i am wrong.

i have not heared any one getting passport back recently except one case (appeal case) else people are waiting since march/april.

If anyone know any person who get passport back recently(Appeal cases)?

Hi Guys

He submitted his passport in May at Gerry's Islamabad and then went to collect it from Gerry's Islamabad. His was also a appeal case for visit visa.

Hi Kash

He submitted his passport on 13th May, recieved call and collected 17th July from gerry's islamabad. We submitted on 6th April at Lahore and are still waiting. The other two who he met at Islamabad who collected there passports without the phone call. We don't know there dates.

Is there any specific time for collection of Passport at Gerrys VAC ? PP submission timings are 8:00 - 16:00.

Just asking to avoid any waste of time.

i think Collection time is from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
did you get any call to get passport or just wanted to check it ?
now days its not that much rush in VAC esp for passport collection.

After reading the above messages, I too am thinking of visiting VAC to try my luck.

I wonder what will happen if one has to urgently go to any other country for any purpose. Passport is trapped with BHC.

Hi Guys

We went to Gerry's today and got our passport with visa endorsed. Did not recieve the so called phone call. When we got back we had received a reply to one of our emails sent to the casework section stating 'the passport has been processed and please contact gerry's office'.

Today my uncle also got call to collect his passport and he will be collecting it tomorrow from VAC lahore. he submited his passport on 24th fo april and his was a visit visa.
Nilli what is visa issue date on your passport ?

its good too see that now things are moving

INSHALLAH every one else will get passport soon.

Congrats Nilli.. I think BHC is delivering the passports on the 10th day the visa got stamped, like in Nilli's case the stamp date is 9th July n collection date is 22 july, n softlogic20 uncles visa stamp date is 11 july n collection date is 22 july. Well i have submitted my passport on 12 June and still waiting. i hope we all will get our passports back soon. Ameen. Kindly update if any of you waiting will get your passports back.

Some people have good experience, but most did not, few days and you get your passport back from Islamabad, seems like a dream,

So, time is a concern, however, we are doing our best to contact and raise this issue at every level, in my last meeting ( on 1st July) with UKBA I was informed that the most of the matters have been resolved, however I still come across few, I do admit that the burden has lessen a bit,

We work as a NGO, ( www.iasuk.org) and provide our services for free for those who can not afford to pay, we are compiling the details of those people where the delay in issuance of calling letter after the determination, or release of passport after the submission. Kindly send us your details with the date of submission.

However if you desire detailed advice you may need to visit our office and there is a registration fee of 3000/- PKR ( about Â£25)
