Hi sherly,

I hope they will stamp it soon Insh Allah. Don't know what makes them to think a lot to stamp the visa on allowed appeal cases. Tell me when your mother gets the visa. I have submitted my passport on 12th June 2009 after an allowed appeal for settlement. Still waiting.

Haroon

9 weeks

Post by scholarshk » Fri Jul 31, 2009 1:52 pm

Discouraging attitude of BHC that they are not issuing Visa esp. for Appeal winning cases.

As I applied on 27th May, that makes more than 9 weeks have passed.

And no news of the Passport.

hello Guys,
here i got another standard email reply from BHC

"Thank you for your e-mail

We have received your passport, file will be seen by the officer case work section in its turn who will then pass it on for further process.

Due to a large number of similar pending cases of successful appeals, further process may take some time. We are trying our level best but regret to say that can't give precise time frame in this respect.

You will be updated through following website when passport/documents are ready for collection.

www.ukvacpk.com

I hope this helps.

Regards,
"

Still my passport is waiting for its turn!!
any update at any ones side?

it seems there are 3 people related to HSMP, Me, mna8 and Scholershk,
is there any one else who submitted their passport after allowed appeal with visa category HSMP?

Kash

my mother-in-law visa rejected :(

Post by farazfastian » Mon Aug 03, 2009 12:25 pm

Hi guys,

UK embassy has rejected my mother-in-law visa giving the reason that i haven't provided any information about my father-in-law, strange isn't it?

Now once again they haven't mentioned specifically what they need, so i'm thinking of giving following with the appeal:

- father-in-law bank statement (though he don't have sufficient funds in it, is it ok?)
- his house bills
- his passport n nic
- affidavit saying that mother-in-law is his wife, they've school going kids and she'll definitely come back etc

My wife's due date is in October based on the appeal time lines, is it worth applying a new application?

Also as i said in my prev post i wanted to bring both mine and my mother-in-law and i ended up applying for my mother-in-law first, thought would apply for my mother after that,
shall i apply for my mother while my mother-in-law appeal is in process? or apply for both in a new application?

This whole thing scaring me, my wife definitly need at least her mother at that time :(

Many Thanks
Faraz

I think it is better to apply fresh rather than appeal in your case. The whole appeal process might take 6 months to 1 yr or more that that in getting visa stamped which you can't afford to wait.

I have experienced myself although we finally win the appeal but still waiting to get it stamped and we applied her visa last year in July.

Hi farazfastian
I would also suggest apply again after removing/explain the objection. Of course it is expensive as applying again but that is really quick as now a day’s BHC processing fresh application within one month. INS your mother in law will get it.
Best of Luck

Many thanks for the replies, but could you please suggest something on following? Me and esp my wife are really worried now

1) Somebody has told us if your visa is rejected then you can only apply again after six months?

2) Shall i apply both my mother-in-law and my mother together or one at a time?

3) I'm providing following documents for my father-in-law, are they enough?
- father-in-law bank statement (though he don't have sufficient funds in it, is it ok?)
- his house bills
- his passport n nic
- affidavit saying that mother-in-law is his wife, they've school going kids and she'll definitely come back etc
- Bay form
- Father-in-law marriage certificate

MAny Thanks
Faraz

No you can apply anytime after rejection
2) Shall i apply both my mother-in-law and my mother together or one at a time?

Apply seperately - depends on who is more important for the purpose you are inviting them over for

Code: Select all

3) I'm providing following documents for my father-in-law, are they enough?
- father-in-law bank statement (though he don't have sufficient funds in it, is it ok?)

- Bay form
- Father-in-law marriage certificate
Yes these should be ok along with a family tree of your mother in law,( eg what relatives/family she has there to return to and for). Also dont make the mistakeof putting a lot of money suddenly in their account or she will be definetly refused

Poor performance

Post by scholarshk » Sun Aug 09, 2009 7:03 pm

Whats wrong with the BHC folks. They are acting highly irresponsible.

No matter how much work load they have, they should provide 1st class service OR they should commit a correct date even if its 6 months after submission of passport. Atleast no one will remain in suspense and will plan accordingly.

Today I was reading in DAWN that many Paki singers have to cancel their concerts in the UK due to delay in issuance of Visa.

I wish any organization takes action against them.

--- No update at my side ---

SHK
