btw when did u submit your application?

seven weeks ago...Have you any idea???It will refuse or grant a visa

I will collect at my own but just wait for call from fedex...Have you any experience regarding same case situation...

these days it is already taking long.... last year when i applied the process was at its normal pace and my passport came back after 25 days and i got my visa stamped as it was suppose to come back in 2 weeks.

and i guess if it takes long there are high chances specially if u are first timer. cuz when a first timer apply and if he is rejected he usually get his passport back in a short time as there is no need of verifications and security checks for him.

this year i have applied on 16 june lets see when i will get back my passport.

anyways hope u will get you visa if you have applied with some sound documents

I just want to know that my application is ready for collection...as shown online tracking but still not understands why they keep/hold my documents...Is the decision been made or still not??

Have you any idea about that in any case if online tracking shown 'ready for collection...' but fedex not call them for more than 1 weeks???

its not in my personal experience but i have gone through many message boards and came across the same situation u are facing. most of them did what i told u and managed to get their passport back. so only 2 options are left for you

1. Goto to vac and tell them u received a call to collect your passport, they will let you go inside. once you are in see if your documents are with them. if you dont get your passport at least you will be inside and will get a chance to talk to the VAC manager and discuss your problem. ON phone they dont entertain that much.

2. or you simply wait for their call and pray that they dont forget to call you.

Alhamdulillah Today I had News Tomorow they are going to collect please do dua... Visa was submitted on 25th May From Mirpur Azad Kashmir VAC.

when did you applied for the visa and which type?

i submitted my app on 15th of june from mirpur vac and applied under PSW dependent catagory.how about u???????????

i submitted my application on 16 june from Lahore vac with the following details:
Called VAC for appointment on 12 MAY, 2009
Application date: 16 june,2009
Visa Type: Visit visa 6 months
Purpose of traveling: Tourism
VAC: Lahore

I am not an active member of this forum just would like to share some updates as I noticed every one is waiting for there Passports.
My Wife applied from Islamabad on 12 Jun 2009 and today 03 July online status is Application is ready for collection. My Wife will go to VAC on Monday I will update u all about the out comes I am sooooo nerves it’s PSW Depended Visa. I am working with a very big group of companies in UK at professional level.

My wifes status changed today on the tracking system, and she also recieved the phone call to go and collect her visa on Monday. Do dua she gets a visa.

I don't know how long other VACs are taking, but seems like the Mirpur one takes about 5 weeks at the moment. Mine and kamran's wives submitted there applications in the last week of May, and both had their status changed this week. It'll be intresting to know if anyone else has applied from Mirpur, and if it appears that you will get the quickest reply from there, I think it would be benificial for new applicants to go there.
