Sallam's Everyone.

I am new to this forum and would like to share with you my Wifes *PENDING* application for spouse visa. We applied on the 2nd of june. Till this day the online tracking system says "Application Forwarded to islmd OC". Its now coming up to 5 weeks so inshallah will recieve some news in the next week or so. Theres one thing thats really stressin me out at the mo, we got married in march and i took all the papers with me. im sure i have given sufficient paperwork, but because we didnt get a date till 2nd of june. im scared they will say the bank statements are out of date. Has anyone had a similar experiance i would like to hear from you guys??? Also my wifes aunty applied for visiting visa 1 day before us on the 1st june. her status changed to collect passport. so they will go on monday. inshallah itll be stamped.

Any one knows the collection time of Passport at Islamabad office? Is it after 12.00?

Yes i have applied from islamabad office. im so worried the visa will be refused. if it is refused is it better to appeal or put a fresh application in because the appeal takes a very long time.

RM786 my wife applied 2 days after you at islamaabad office on the 4th of june so pls let me know when you get status changed to ready for collection as myu wifes visa status might change a few days after yours
in my experince is it better to do a fresh app if visa is refuse even tho you will have to forkout Â£700 agn because you will have to wait 6 months or more to get an appeal date. I got married in nov 2007 my wifes visa got refused in dec 2008 then i had to wait 7 months for an appeal date and this got refused aswell now we have submitted a fresh app on june 4th, please pray for us inshallah she'll get the vis as it been torture waiting.
as regards to your bank statement what date is it upto?

How You doing? Inshallah i will keep u posted about our status. well i took my papers with me when i went in march to get married so ive got 6 months statements, but till the start of march. Inshallah my wife will be granted entry if she doesnt i think ill have to submit a fresh application. Im sorry to hear u have bin away from your wife for this amount of time. ive bin away from my mrs for nearly 3 months and its very depressing. Inshallah you will have good news this time round. I will be thinking of you in my duas Brother.

If you dont mind me asking how many bank statements did you send and what was latest statement. May?

My Wife got her Visa today

Application submitted: 12 Jun 2009
Ready for Collection: 03 July 2009
Passport collected with Visa on: 06 July 2009
Application type: PSW Dependent

Many thanks for your prayers and best wishes how are waiting and planning to apply. I would like to advise all the people please do not submit your application in hurry make sure every thing is spot on provide as much as information you can to ECO.
I would love to help if anyone after any information.

Salam M_Z - My wife applied on 11th June in LHE for Settlement Visa ... where did ur wife apply from.

Inshallah we'll get the visa's pretty soon. Have you contacted them via email to get an update? They did quote that they are taking anywhere between 4 - 6 weeks (6 weeks for LHE) to process applications.

Will let you know if I hear anything.

I applied for UK visa on 25th March 2009 however I still did not get any reply, have any body got visa who applied on above dates. I applied as fresh.

my wife applied on the 2nd of june from the islamabad office. status is "forwarded to islmbd OC on". If your status's are changed please let us know and i will do the same jus to keep you guys informed.

MY duas are with everyone whos still waiting as i know it can be very stressful and depressing.

Hi Amir,

Where did you apply from and for which type of visa. Also do you check the online tracking system if yes then what is your status? It might be handy just to give an e-mail or a call to BHC. because you have been waiting a little while now.

I applied from Karachi with my whole family, wife and with 2 kids, my employer is providing accumadation for us for 3 month, I got work permit and filled vaf 2 form, because my employer appled for my workpermit before nov 2008 and I got workpermit on 12 feb 2009 for 5 years, I applied for visa from Karachi on 25March2009, and web side showing "Application Forwarded to Islamabad OC on", I worte an email to aubudabi on 18 june and after 5 days I got reply that your application is still under process. What do I do? I just fedup, I made lots for plans.

Just to update you guys my wifes visa

PASSPORT READY FOR COLLECTION.

Please pray for me guys inshallah she will get visa.

Amir i think because you have 3 dependants they are taking bit of time. This is totally unacceptable. just keep trying to contact them to get a reasonable answer. have some sabar but the amount of time you bin wating i can understand you are not happy at all give it abit more time because at this stage there is not much you can do.
Inshallah you will recieve the result you are waiting for brother.

thankyou brother. yes your wifes passport will be thorugh soon inshallah. i know how hard it is being apart from your loved ones its relly depressing and my duas are with all off you inshallah everyones spouses will be with them very soon and have a great life infront of them.

it took Exactly 5 weeks to get a reply. so you guys can look forward to getting a reply soon aswell. i will most definetly keep you updated i think they are going to gerrys 2mro.
