Please help! We have a holiday booked for 18/9/19 but my visa expires 2/9/19. Can I apply now? Or do I need to wait until August 4th to apply (within 28 days of expiration?

If you apply too early, you will have a shortfall when it comes to applying for ILR, resulting in needing a further extension to cover a short period to qualify for ILR.

WIth the new system, you can apply using the 24 hour super priority service which costs an extra £800.

On what date did you enter the UK on your Spouse Settlement visa??

You can apply 28 days before completing 30 months after arriving. If that is the case then you can apply now.
