Cohabitation Proof for FLR(M) application

Post by Faireena » Tue Jul 06, 2021 1:01 pm

Hello Everyone,
I’ve been a member of this group since my first spouse visa application, and my questions now are for extension of my stay in UK.
My FLR(M) application is to be made next year before 18 June 2022 and I am collecting cohabitation proofs since I first entered UK on partner standard visa on 23/September/2019.
I do not have enough letters on both of our names but I do have many letters from different sources addressed to us separately on the same address. I am the applicant here, and my husband is a British citizen.
I will be very grateful if someone can check if the following letters are sufficient . I will make sure to be more careful regarding our letters and get more of our letters jointly addressed from now on till next year .
So the ones that I have so far are-

Jointly addressed
Council bill January/ 2020 ( covers from 23 sept 2019 to 31/03/2020)
Letter from British Gas January/2020
British Gas bill. May /2020
British Gas bill. Nov/2020
British Gas bill. May/2021
Council bill. July/ 2021 ( covers the entire last year)

Addressed to applicant
NI number letter 12/02/2020
Offer letter from work 26/03/2020
Bank statement 03/05/2020
Hospital letter 07/07/2020
Cervical screening NHS letter 10/08/2020
Bank statement 04/10/2020
Hospital letter 08/01/2021
Hospital letter 26/02/2021
Letter from department of health and social care 17/03/2021
Poll card 6/05/2021

Addressed to sponsor ( my husband)
Letter from his retirement agency 14/05/2020
Home insurance policy 22/07/2020
Student finance letter 15/10/2020
Mortgage letter 23/12/2020
Water bill 19/02/2021
TSB bank letter March/2021

Can someone please check if these are sufficient.

Thank you very much :D

The cohabitation evidence is to cover the last 2 years preceeding application for extension I.e. First 6 months after you enter UK is not needed.
The correspondence should be from at least 3 sources at intervals of 3-4 months. You can mix and match to meet this requirements.

Thank you for your reply. By 3-4 different sources, do you mean jointly addressed letters from 3-4 different sources, as unfortunately I don’t have jointly addressed letters from 3-4 sources. It’s just council and electricity bill that are jointly addressed . I have therefore put all the letters from every possible source separately addressed to me and my husband . I have asked the water supplier to jointly address us now but they will only do it for letters from now on . What do I do now ? Are these not sufficient ?

When it comes down to it, all correspondences you can provide will be helpful. Note that you can also used letters that ain't jointly addressed; will only require more.
