Confusion with "Non applying children"

Hi Everyone,

I'm a British Citizen born in the UK and my son who is 16 automatically has British Citizenship. My wife is extending her Spouse Visa and I'm confused with the section "Non applying children".

"Do you have any children of 18 years old or under?" --- I answered yes.

"Are all of your children applying with you on this application?" I answered no as my son doesn't need to.

Then the form will ask me a ton of questions about my son!!

So my questions are... have I answered the 2 questions correctly and if so, do I just continue and answer the hundreds of questions that come after it?
