I am in the final stage about the Spouse Visa and about the mandatory documents that need the signature , I have two questions related:
1. Declaration for Spouse, civil partners form:
My partner needs to tick his status that applies, but he is Irish and on the form, there is no option of "Irish". Only 'I am a British citizen' and " I have pre-settled status in the EUSS".
The thing is my partner is only Irish, and according to the UK government, Irish citizens don't need to apply for pre-settlement and they can live in the UK with their Irish passport. In this situation, should I tick the "pre-settlement" because they can just no need to do that and my partner is not British citizen even though he can vote and is equivalent to a British citizen?
2. Consent for the Home Office to verify application Information.
For Part 1, it is me (Applicant) to sign the paper, and for Parts 2 & 3, they need other relevant parties. Since I have a job and I use my employment and finance to support myself, there is no joint account. Should I just leave Parts 2 & 3 blank?
Many thanks for the help
