Consent forms part 1, 2 and 3 for spouse visa

Post by Pudge12345 » Tue Apr 27, 2021 12:36 pm

Hi, we are filling out a spouse visa application form for my wife who is the applicant and I (husband) am sponsoring her.

Near the end there is a section on part 1, 2 and 3 consent forms that I don't understand.

We have no joint accounts or joint bills (these are all paid for by my parents and are in their names) and all the financial requirement is based around my (the sponsor's) bank statements only.

We will be staying at my parents house and as part of the application we have a council tax bill with their names on it, as well as their mortgage deeds and a letter from them allowing us to stay.

My wife has currently filled out and signed part 1, as she is the applicant. I am unsure who (if anyone) needs to sign part 2 and 3. Would my parents have to sign to give their consent as they have provided a council tax bill in their name? If so, which form would that be?

Hope you can help, thanks

Are you applying for an extension or you are switching from another category to a partner visa within UK?

She is currently here in the UK on a fiancé visa and now we're applying to switch from a fiancé visa to the spouse visa, from within the UK

Consent form 1 for applicant
consent form 2 for sponsor
consent form 3 leave it blank

Even though you have no joint bills together still sign it.
