Cover letter for parent visa

I'm applying as a parent(Mother) of a British child and was asked to write a cover letter as a supporting document. Can anyone help on how to write it. Thanks

Are you applying under the parent route ? Who said you are required to write a over letter ?

The solicitor helping with the application. Km applying under parent route.

There is no such requirement. Why have you hired a solicitor that you do not trust ??

A solicitor who knows your circumstances of application and story yet cannot come up with draft of such a cover letter???

It appears the solicitor wants you to do the work and you then pay them for making you do the work.

Ask them why they are unable to at the very least tell you what to include if they are asking you to write such a letter.
