In sha'Allah and thats good we can only hope and its a timeline before lockdown i was just looking if anyone received any emails similar to the one i got sent. Like yourself i couldn't find anyone who had applied after lockdown.
Just paid for everything . Standard service .
Wife biometrics appointment in UAE on 29 July.
Insha'Allah everything goes well.
I heard that before enrolling biometrics you can change your application to priority service if it does become available so let's see what happens in 1 week, though I highly doubt it.
Imagine me waiting all this time for priority service and as soon as my wife enrolls biometrics priority service becomes available. That will be a knife in the heart. What a bad luck lol
[/quote]

In sha’Allah it all goes well. Never forget everything happens for a reason and priority service doesn’t always mean it will be any quicker trust me. Let me know how it goes if I hear anything I will keep you posted.

I initially also wanted to do the priority service but my solicitor advised me not to as mentioned before in this thread it doesn't always mean it'll get picked up any quicker. If you want any advise i'd say submit it now while you have the chance as the rules surrounding Covid-19 are constantly changing. They're predicting a second wave of covid-19 if lock-down is reinstated visa application centres will close again. When they re-open any visas submitted between now and then will get prioritised. If that was to happen you would be back to square one still waiting for the priority service. There's a lot of uncertainty around immigration rules atm best not to waste any time. I'll keep you updated if i hear anything new.
Thank you very much for your input.
I have decided to go through with standard service.
I am also worried about a second wave and second lockdown .
Please can you tell me exactly word for word the email (taking out personal info) that u received to tell you that your husband visa is being processed as it will help me alot.
Please keep me updated as much as you can.
Thats great news in sha' Allah it will get accepted quick. The email i received was as following.

Regarding Visa Application: GWxxxxx

For: Applicant’s name xxxxxx

The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.

You have stated in your Visa Application Form that your sponsor has been employed by xxxx since July 2017 and also by xxxxx since October 2019. I acknowledge that you have provided the following documents:

· Letter of employment from both xxxx and xxxx

· Your sponsor’s payslips from November 2019 to April 2020 from xxxx

· Your sponsor’s payslips December 2019 to May 2020 from xxxxxx

· Your sponsor’s bank statements for the period 2 December 2019 to 6 May 2020

The Immigration Rules state that in respect of salaried employment in the UK, all of the following evidence must be provided (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/polic ... ndix-fmse/):

(a) Payslips covering: (i) a period of 6 months prior to the date of application if the person has been employed by their current employer for at least 6 months (and where paragraph 13(b) of this Appendix does not apply); or (ii) any period of salaried employment in the period of 12 months prior to the date of application if the person has been employed by their current employer for less than 6 months (or at least 6 months but the person does not rely on paragraph 13(a) of this Appendix), or in the financial year(s) relied upon by a self-employed person.

(b) A letter from the employer(s) who issued the payslips at paragraph 2(a) confirming:

(i) the person's employment and gross annual salary; (ii) the length of their employment; (iii) the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied upon in the application; and (iv) the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency).

(c) Personal bank statements corresponding to the same period(s) as the payslips at paragraph 2(a), showing that the salary has been paid into an account in the name of the person or in the name of the person and their partner jointly.

1. Your sponsor’s payslips for May and June 2020 with regards to her employment with xxxxxx

2. Your sponsor’s payslip for June 2020 with regards to her employment with xxxxx

3. Your sponsor’s bank statements from May to the present day, which show her salary deposits for May and June 2020.

Unfortunately due to the current COVID 19 outbreak, and the widespread travel and working restrictions both in the UK and abroad, our usual working practices have been disrupted and this may mean that we are not able to implement your decision once the requested information/evidence has been provided. Your application may remain on hold until normal service resumes.

We will endeavour to implement your decision as soon as we are able to do so.

This is good news because they are actually processing it. It is unreasonable to request these documents, as the date of application was 15 May, however the quickest way to resolve the matter will be to do as they ask.

You can either send the payslips and bank statements directly, or pass them to us to send on your behalf, whichever you would prefer.
Best wishes

Yes I was getting well above the minimum requirement. Me and my solicitor was also very confused about the email. It was an unreasonable request. It may have been a mistake on their end.

I read your post again and it seems like you got an email on the 10th day after biometrics that they are processing your the visa and needed more documents .
Unfortunately we still haven't received any email. Not even an confirmation email yet.
It's 12 weeks from VFS global in dubai.

I wanted to ask how was you informed that your husband got visa ?
Because last time my wife applied we got email that decision was made and we paid for courier service so decision letter and passport was sent to her home.
Just wanted to ask if it's same now

Hi, I wouldn’t have received any email if they didn’t require additional information so I would’ve been non the wiser. I’ve always been advised that no news is good news when it comes to visas. I was informed by email. I got two emails at the same time first one stating my visa is getting assessed and straight after one saying a decision has been made.

I’ve been tracking the status of the application on the TLS contact app, soon as I received the emails I logged on to the app to double check and it said a decision had Indeed been made. I didn’t opt in to getting the passport delivered to my husbands address as the website stated due to COVID-19 there are delays with the courier service. He picked it up instead.

At the biometric appointment my husband asked the person scanning his documents about the decision time he was also advised 12 weeks but he then asked a second person who advised him 6 weeks and alhumdulilah he got it on the 6th week.

What happened the last time your wife applied was it a spouse visa you applied for?

Yes I have also applied for spouse visa for my wife .
Last time I applied for my wife I opted for priority service .
The morning after her biometrics I got an email that they are have received the application and passed it on to the case worker.
Priority service gives your answer in 6 weeks and on the 4th week exactly 1 month after biometrics I got a phone call interview to my work place and answered all the questions .
The following morning I got email that decision has been made and we paid for courier service in VFS for passport to be delieverd to my wife home address .
It was delieverd the next day and unfortunately it was a refusal because I am working for my father and if you are related to the director of a limited company (my dad company is limited) you have to show them 12 months worth of bank statements and payslips to show that you have been employed for a full financial year . They also requested more additional documents of my father's company like VAT, tax etc
This time I have provided all these documents so insha'Allah she will get visa this time .

My lawyers did everything for me this time .
She even added her email address on the application as she does this for all her clients .
It's actually better this way as I am not frantically refreshing my email all the time .
I don't know if she opted for courier service or not. I will have to ask her. As it seems like a smart move to pick it up due to covid 19 there could be delays .
However the VFS centre is quite far and my wife doesn't drive .

Again sister thank you everything . Without your advise I don't think i would have gone through with this application. Your husband getting visa is giving me lots of hope that insha'Allah my wife gets it aswell.

Thank you very much sister for praying . insha'Allah she will get visa with your prayers

Oh right I see. Well now with all the correct documents it should be straight forward in sha’Allah. I’m glad I could help. Don’t lose hope.

Thats great news in sha' Allah it will get accepted quick. The email i received was as following.

Sheffield Settlement Docs Requested (Sensitive) <Sheffield.SettlementDocsRequested@fco.gov.uk>
Thu 09/07/2020 16:55
Dear xxxx xxx

I can accept the employment letters, however, I do require the following documents:

Please send these documents as a scanned attachment within 10 working days to

Sheffield.SettlementDocsRequested@fco.gov.uk

quoting your application reference in the subject line. Please attach the document directly to the email as we are unable to access links to files hosted on sites such as Dropbox™ or Google Drive™.

Kind regards,

UK Decision Making Centre

I forwarded this email to my solicitor and she sent me this

This is good news because they are actually processing it. It is unreasonable to request these documents, as the date of application was 15 May, however the quickest way to resolve the matter will be to do as they ask.

You can either send the payslips and bank statements directly, or pass them to us to send on your behalf, whichever you would prefer.
Best wishes

xxxx

my solicitor then sent the additional information requested on the 15/07/20. So now i'm just waiting. I'll let you know if i get a reply.

Are you meeting the minimum income by 2 jobs ?
Is that why you received this email?
I am just wondering why you got this email?

That’s great news.

My husband took all copies. Nothing original.

-how many page of wedding pic and chat logs tls contact allow to you to scann ?

Scan as much as you can. There is no limit the more the better because your marriage will look genuine and not fake.

- how much coast you scann in tls contact?

It’s best to go with the option ‘ Appointment Assisted Service - Regular’ it cost £28 including VAT. But someone will scan all your papers.

I hope this helps.

I want to ask you after the scanning the documents.
Did you send the originals document to shefield by post? No posting of documents again, all is scanned and uploaded electronically.

How many page of wedding pic and chat logs you provided? Not a function of pages but of sufficient to evidence a subsisting relationship.

How many payslips you provided?

On online form.what do they earn .which one you chosen? No 2 applicant's circumstances can be the exact same, your described situation will inform what opinion moderators give as suit your circumstances.

I really don't know how long it will take more but hopefully within the next couple of weeks we get a decision.
