First Attempt for Spouse Visa

Dear All,

Please note that I am applying for my husband first spouse visa.

I am including the following documents;

Part 1:
A copy of printed and Singed Application form
Applicant and sponsor’s personal photos
Printed Appendix 2
Signed form SU07 by the Sponsor NOT required for a spouse visa
Sponsor’s cover Letter
Copy of the documents’ checklist

Part 2:
IELTS Is this A1 from an HO approved test provider??

Part 3:
Marriage certificate and translation
Copy of Sponsor’s Indefinite UK Visa
Copy of Sponsor’s passport
Extract of chats and Calls
Prints of Photos
Travel evidences (hotel, tickets/boarding passes)
Receipts for the purchases and gifts
Letters from the family members What letters? Not really needed.
Applicant’s university certificate Not needed if you have done an approved English test.
GP letter regarding the pregnancy

Part 4:
Original Payslips (since Mar 2017) If you are applying under Cat A, only 6 months is needed.
Last P60 (2017/18)
Employer letter and change of name
Signed Job Contract - I have been at my current job for nearly 3 years and have an income of 35k per year
Original Bank statements showing the payments of the Salaries Only 6 months needed if applying under Cat A.

Part 5:
Signed Tenancy Agreement
Bills (recent utility and the last council tax)
Floor plan or inspection report


Please note that I have paid for my case to be reviewed as propriety.
Does that really go through priority way or its a waste of money?
Your choice. No guarantee that priority will speed up the decision process.

I don't have a solicitor to do this job, i have only paid an immigration adviser to help me with this, would I benefit from having a solicitor? does the home office officer respond more accordingly if you have a solicitor?
Makes no difference and a solicitor has no influence over the decision. All you will be is much poorer.

as you know all these steps are very expensive and I hope my check list of documents are complete.
Am I missing anything on my check list of documents?

Please note that we applied for my husband visitor visa before our marriage, but due to his finance reasons it was rejected, would that have any effects on this spouse visa?
No!

Our appointment at the Visa centre is next week so I have time to change things around.

They dont always email to say documents received. If your really worried send them an email but I would just wait. If you have evidence that your bundle was delivered at Sheffield then dont worry they have your documents.

Why did you send 10 months of payslips? It may annoy the ECO or confuse them but dont worry too much about it.

UKVI are known for their unpredictable communication. Some people hear from them all the way throughout the application process, whilst others hear very little at all if any.

I did my application around the same time as you. I also sent my documents to Sheffield and they had received it on 18th May (I also did priority service). What date was the biometrics done? (How many working days has it been since biometric?)

At least you got the automated email, I haven't received that as yet...! I read few posts on this forum that when you call/contact them, they then hear from them (i.e. have their originals sent back to them the next day!) whether that's a coincidence, I don't know. I'm tempted to call them, but at the same time.. I want to wait till I reach that '30 working days'

15 Working days from biometric has been passed.
It may take longer for me as we previously applied for visitor visa and it does say it may effect the length of response.
