Ok so you reckon not to use them for accommodation.

The only issue I have is on the application form it asks if we have any shared utility bill responsibilities, if I have my fiancé on them and I answer yes, it’s asks what percentage are each person responsible for, obviously my fiancé cannot work at the moment so therefor doesn’t pay anything, I pay all the bills

Many Thanks
That question won't affect the outcome. Just reply it honestly. Also remember that the same flrm application form is used for extension as well which contains several questions which aren't actually applicable now.

Re: Fiancé Visa To Spouse Visa

Post by mark2019 » Sun Jul 05, 2020 10:12 pm

Ok great that makes sense

I have just been doing the online application with my fiancé and some questions I’m really not sure of the answer, if you would kindly check over these for us to give us some guidance:

(Details of other Nationality)
Country of other nationality asks date held from (rather than issue date) are they referring to the passport date or how long you have been a national?

What type of visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission do you have to be in the UK? (Currently fiancé visa)
Family?
Settlement?
Other?

What family or friends do you have In The country where you were born and / or any other country whose nationality you hold?
Do they seriously want her to name every friend she has in these countries? What’s the relevance of this question?

Are there any factors which would make it difficult or impossible for you to integrate and establish a life in that country?
How would we answer this? Again it would be very difficult for my fiancé as she has left everything to be with me, we are now married and she would be leaving me

Is this the first time you have applied for a partner route, or an extension, with your current partner (including as a fiance(e) or proposed civil partner? (Currently on a fiancé visa here in the UK)

Please choose the reason you are applying for an extension?

First extention as a partner (following an initial period of entry as a partner, a fiancé or proposed civil partner of a settled person?

First application as a partner from within the UK ( for example, you are currently in the UK on another type of visa or permission to stay)?

Additional extension as a partner?

Do you and your partner currently live together?

If I put yes it Starts asking me to confirm at least 2 years of evidence, which we don’t have as my partner is here on her fiancé visa, If we put no it asks how we communicate? Again she’s here on her fiancé visa with me?

Have you lived with your partner continuously for 2 years?

No

Enter details for any periods of time you have not lived with your partner including where you were living for how long and the reason you lived apart?

We have never lived together, again she is on a fiancé visa?

How often do you usually see or meet your partner?

She is here with me

Have you and your partner ever lived together?

No?

Any relevant supporting evidence why you have not lived together?

Again she is here on a fiancé visa, we previously lived In Different countries

Could you and your partner live together outside the UK if Necessary?

Yes?

Evidence of monthly housing costs
For example, a tenancy or mortgage agreement (do they want to see utility bills etc)?

Mandatory documents
Any relevant supporting evidence why we haven’t lived together?

Why is this mandatory if we are on a fiancé visa?

Dear Mark2019,

Seagul advised on an earlier enquiry that you should answer honestly. You have posted nearly the whole question I'm the online application here.
Answer honestly, the form is generic and some of the questions may not apply to your circumstance.

Yes all priority application suspended for now. No sufficient feedback from applicants yet to be able to trend and give approximate turn around time.

Re: First Spouse FLR(M) application questions

Post by mark2019 » Sun Jul 12, 2020 9:51 am

Hello Guys

I have one last question to ask before we submit the application which has just dawned on me.

My wife was over here on a visit visa last year, when she returned to Mexico her Temporary residency visa (she’s originally Venezuelan) ran out, she had a month to renew the visa when she returned and started the process as even know we were doing the fiancé visa straight away, if something went wrong she would have legal status in Mexico. As the temporary residence visa takes ages to renew, we had a translated verified copy from the Mexican hone office indicating that the visa is in the process of being renewed, to show Legal status from the country you are applying from.

So my question is, now we are doing the spouse visa here from the UK, if I only send her old temporary resident visa and not the Mexican home office letter to accompany it, will they look at the application and see her as an over stayer in Mexico? Or should I also include the home office letter so they can see why that was the case?

Many Thanks

Why do you need to send her Mexican residence documents??

This is NOT required.

Thank you seagul

Yes we have it available, I’m just very worried as my wife is going to go well passed her visa date, when we submit our application due to corona. normally I would have paid for super priority just in case we got it wrong we have enough time to fix it. With everything that’s going on we don’t have that option.

Can I ask, and I think we have everything and we won’t have an issue as I believe spouse is easier than fiancé and we got through that easily. But if for what ever reason it’s rejected, can she stay here and we re apply or will she I’ve to leave and reapply, that is our only worry as she has literally nothing to go home to!

Many Thanks

She won't be enforced to leave the country rather either will be allowed to appeal the decision whilst continue to live in UK or depending on your circumstances & the caseworker's discretion might be issued with flrfp.
