What exactly does the message state on the UKVI site (UKBA no longer exists)

If it states that the application has been considered and awaiting a decision, it is exactly that

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs

08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved

I really feel for you koolkate, I don't know what else to suggest about your situation, MP, solicitor. It's horrible that the Home Office can bound us to a lengthy wait.

Another note, the timeline thread immigration-for-family-members/flr-fp-f ... 12110.html is an incredible resource for people waiting or tracking average processing time. Will others please, please PLEASE follow the rules and post time line updates only. It is now under threat of being locked which will mean the admins will end up banning anyone opening up another timeline thread. This board is made for us so please, everyone, follow the rules. Thanks

P.S - still waiting, coming up to 11month waiting in a few weeks time, whoohoo HO, way to go.

I'm not a moderator, but deception is something that would be weighted on incredibly. Would be best if you have your own thread on this matter as other members are talking about wait times.

Thank you bathanza. I am thinking about seeing our First Minister about this, I really hope she can do something about it. It's been nearly a month since I sent them a letter and no response.

Hi all
My partner and I applied for an FLR FP in Feb 2017 and received a refusal approx 4 weeks later due to lack of issurmountable obstacles.

I would say no news could still mean good news and that they are still carefully considering all your cases as our refusal response came fairly quickly ..
Hang in there x

*When we submitted our application,my partner did not have his passport either,we simply stated that HO already had it. This was never mentioned as part of the refusal of the application so not sure how much not having it impacted the process.*"

Sorry to hear about the rejection. Always a massive blow. You've given me solace in terms of waiting so long, but you'll never know. Also, I KNOW that if a passport has not been submitted, you would have been given an invalid application letter and given 10 days to reply with a passport, an application for a processing passport at the embassy or national ID card, it's not the sole reason for rejection.

Hi guys and those who get alerts - still no news and awaiting a decision since April according to the HO link and 11 months after submission. I was going through the FLR timeline for 2016 and it seemed that applications had a 4 month or 5 month turn around time. They must be super overwhelmed with casework and/or have had cutbacks. Hoping for some positive news ... soon. All the best.

Same here. My application status is 'awaiting a decision' since April. That was when my 'refund' button disappeared on the IHS portal.

It's there when your application is pending so you are still able to request the refund. This option disappears when the application is being processed or awaiting a decision. You have to check (or keep checking) your bank statement now. You'll know if your application is unsuccessful when you receive the refund. I hope you don't. Good luck!

That service is still in beta. When did you send your application? Did you apply as a partner, parent or private life?

rankaseye - do you mind posting your timeline? Generally, you should hear 10 days after the decision and as someone said before, watch out for IHS refund as that'll indicate rejection. Wish you all the very best.

Hi everyone and a big thank you to Bathanza for all your help and support so far. Your works haven't gone unnoticed.

I just wanted to ask a quick question . Basically I submitted an application for extension of leave outside the rules(FLR O) in
September last year. I just noticed that the status has now changed to decided. I am a bit worried though as I have read quite a lot about IHSrefunds although I haven't received anything back. I know the Payment goes through world pay. Does it mean world pay send a refund email similar to how they send an payment acknowledgment email? I only ask this as I can't remember if I paid through my account or that of my now non responsive solicitor. I have checked my account there's nothing though. I am quite positive as it's a renewal but you know nerves can be a terrible thing.

Thanks in advance.

Hi how was your first application like, how long did it take for HO to grant it?.
I asked because this is my first application and i also applied outside the rules due to the fact that i have overstayed for 6 months, am on visitors visa and from what i have read (accessed NHS funds due to my pregnancy).

Hi, Sorry its taken me a while to get back to you. my first leave took well over a year( application initially denied and then went to court before it was granted). However, I had always had valid leave since 2009 and only applied for leave outside the rules in 2012 based on a sudden change in my personal circumstances.
Ironically, I got a call from my solicitor shortly after I had posted my enquiry this morning to inform me that my BRP had arrived. Still waiting for my supporting docs as that has not arrived.
please bear in mind that no two cases will be assessed the same so kindly put your mind at rest and keep trusting for the good news which will come your way soon.
