This is really interesting! Lucky her. But I guess being married made all the difference, in comparison with my case, for instance.

Not sure, I am married but mine is one year this month. Additional document sent for about 7 weeks now. I think it depends on the case worker and the work load. What must have also contributed is the online application. Goodluck everyone
When I read things like 'one year', my heart skips a beat. :) :)

Would you mind sharing your timeline?

Timeline
Flr (fp) application : 10/2017 (application submitted before the expiration date of my last visa)
Contacted MP in June, 2018
Contact HO in July, 2018
Additional Document request for August, 2018
Waiting since then.
Thanks. Hopefully they respond to you soon.

One more question, please. What type of visa did you previously have?

Hi all,

I have been a member of this forum for nearly two years now.
Timeline:
Flr(fp) application: 18th July 2016
Request for further submission: August 2017
Still waiting for a decision:
I normally sign on at a reporting centre every six months. Got a message from the home office saying:
“You are not currently required to attend a reporting centre as your reporting is suspended. The Home Office will contact you if we require you to recommence your reporting.“

Been racking my brain as to what it means. Please has anyone received such message and could some one please tell me what it means?

Yes I applied on the 18th of July 2016 for flr(fp) based on parent of a British child. I have emailed, called and contacted them several times. Even had my MP write to them twice and they just kept saying a decision had not been reached yet.
However last week my solicitor told me that he was asked by the home office to confirm if they still represented me. Then on Friday got that text message from them saying my signing on at the reporting centre has been suspended. I don’t understand that at all.

Hi all just an update to my previous messages. Contacted the home office reporting centre this morning and they said I have been granted leave to remain for 2.5 years. I still can’t believe it as I lost all hope of ever getting a positive answer from them. I have been waiting for 2 years and 3 months for abreply from them. I hope this gives most people waiting for long hope too.

Hello all! I have been following this forum for almost a year now. Worried sick whether/when my leave will be granted.

I applied last year in November but based on my circumstances, I always thought I would be rejected. Me and my partner hadn’t lived together for 2 years( I mean living together at the same address) by the time I applied. Our son was born in June 2017 and my partner is British. Due to a failed asylum claim, I applied anyway for a 10 year partner route.

Am glad to say that I received my leave on Saturday dated 19th- October 2018. So waiting for my BRP and the birth of our second child.

Never used a soilicitor and no more documents asked. Wish you luck everyone there that’s waiting for a decision. Don’t loose hope.
