Don’t go for reporting honestly they do the same thing to every which they done to me as well.they are planing you to detain and give you the refusal by hand.
The done to me exacctly the same
Sorry if my comments hurt you but I am 3000 percent sure they will detain you

Today I received a text message from Home Office regarding my reporting that my reporting is on Monday 29th October. But my reporting is not due until 29th November. But when I contacted them by email I received a reply from Home Office “ You have now been moved to immigration bail and will now be required to report on a Monthly Basis. A Bail 201 had been posted out for you to report with, you are required to still report on the 29th of October. If you do not receive your reporting paper by then please request it at the counter.”
My case history is I applied for FLR(FP) on partner based living with my partner nearly 4 years now.
Applied : September 2017
Biometric: October 2017
Didn’t receive anything after I did my biometric.
In June 2018 my barrister wrote to them didn’t receive any reply
September 2018 I write to Immigration didn’t receive anything.
But on 5th October received package from immigration with letter saying that my application is still in process and they are returning the supporting documents but they have got copies of documents which they require. And today I received text message that I have to report every month now as before I was reporting every 2 Months.

As they have changed my reporting does that mean my decision is negative. I’m worried now. I rang my barrister and told him and he said my decision might be negative that’s why they have changed my reporting to every month but I haven’t received any decision letter yet.
Please guide or advise me.

The best way to ask from your solicitor or barrister.
But my experience is with them
They treat you the same if never abscond their will treat you worst.
My history when they were detaining me
They handover me my first refusel letter and said you are on bail your next reporting on 3rd of April.
I sent new application by 12th of March and they refused it on 17th of March without acknowledge or biomateric letters and got text your reporting is 19th of March I went there wait there 4/5 hours got my new refusel and been told we deporting you right now tonight is your flight and get legal advise at 5/6pm no one solicitor office is open.
So ask from solicitor he might give you better advise

Make your own topic to discuss your own immigration history so members can help you with your query. You're posting in a massive thread that makes it difficult for anyone to advise: I would highly recommend that you DO NOT SKIP reporting as this will be recorded down in your immigration history. It was negatively seen in my husband's last refusal (but was a solicitor fault) Fear of deportation is something you cannot justify when obsconding - But again, please make your own post/topic please!

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

Hi vini81,
We had same application done the basis of 7 year child who turned 8 now. We have got the refusal. I can not digest the results after fulfilling the requirements and sending additional documents in auagust. We have got appeal right.
I just want to know like how long does it take to get the hearing date. My solicitor said that we will get date in around 6-7 months.

Hi all,

Got an email from solicitor today saying our application has been refused. I will post my timeline another time...

Very difficult to swallow right now but at least they gave us right of appeal.
:( :( :(

My question is :

Do we really need to use our solicitors in order to send our appeal? Is this just a form they fill in and that's it?

My solicitor is charging £500 to make the appeal and I find it a robbery. Can anyone share their thoughts?

Thanks

Been reading most of the replies, below are time lines:
Applied FP in March 2017,
after couple of weeks received a complex letter, along with biometrics.
After almost 13 months of wait, received communication, to submit further documentation like council tax, gp leter, school etc, to show that children's are living with us, etc.
After a week, documents were sent in April 2018, after 1 week received a early wake up knock knock on door, by a postman delivering BRP card... i hope everyone gets their status sorted as soon as possible, and would kindly request each and every member to keep every other person going through tough time in your prayers.

Hi,
I went for my reporting and they gave me refusal letter and no right to appeal and asked me to leave in 7 calendar days.

My case history
Application applied: Flr(fp) November 2014
Refused : May 2015 saying doesn’t meet the criteria of living together for 2 years
Appeal heard: January 2017
Appeal refused as it was not 2 years of living together at time of application. But accepted its geniun relationship.
Fresh application: September 2017
Biometric: October 2017
Supporting documents returned on 5th October 2018
Decision of refusal given on 29th October 2018 at reporting centre.
No right to appeal asked to leave the country in 7 days.
My barrister is going to write for JR as they assume that my appeal will be refused and I can move back to my country with my British partner and start life there.

Would you mind sharing your timeline?
Timeline
Flr (fp) application : 10/2017 (application submitted before the expiration date of my last visa)
Contacted MP in June, 2018
Contact HO in July, 2018
Additional Document request for August, 2018
Waiting since then.
Received a refusal letter during the weekend with right of appeal.
Been married for more than 5 years
Husband got ILR since 2years
Kids are 5 and 2 - Just applied for them to be registered as British Citizen three weeks ago.
HO acknowledged that I meet the spouse requirement but no insurmountable obstacles why we shouldn't return home as a family unit.
Flr fp form was filled based on partner route not parents route.
Judgement was based on both and another reason for refusal was that the kids have not spent 7 years continuously in the UK. Even though they have their application for British Citizenship put in since 3 weeks and their dad having ILR.
Spoke with a solicitor who said our matter may not go to the court because all requirements have been met but appeal will be done on in a few days.
Application was done before my last leave expired. So I didn't overstay. We applied through this route because we couldn't meet the financial requirement. My kid's decision may be out before the appeal hearing too. I am being very hopeful.

I applied flr(fp)around January 2018, but I don’t hear anything from HO until now. I asked MP to contact HO, they tell me there is no problem about my visa process. I tried to contact HO by myself, they told me there is no time limit. I have to wait. Wait wait wait. Does anyone know what can I do now? It takes too long. This is mental torture. I can’t do anything and my life can’t move. Can anyone help me. Thanks a lot.

Hi Sk10, sorry for delay. The last few days have been very busy preparing everything for the appeal and also to digest the whole thing.

To answer your question: My solicitor told me that a hearing date could take around 4 months but I have a friend who also had their application refused and they had a date in less than a month. They are going to Birmingham for the hearing in two weeks time. It took around 4 weeks for them to receive the hearing date so I guess anything can happen.

Have you got everything ready for your appeal? What was the reason for refusal?

Thanks

Hey GB1210,

Thank you so much for your message and encouragement, it means a lot. Can you explain a bit more about your case? The reason why HO refused your application and how was the hearing?

I have a solicitor and we are now preparing the case. So many new fees, barista etc... I took some time away because it was all a bit too much, very busy days...

Thanks once again!

hi vini81 I know the pain you’re going throw it go for the appeal. My wife won is appeal even though we submitted at 6 years. The judge said he will grant it in the court room. A good solicitor is required . You child school performance will play a big role as well.Good luck

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, you got it!! Congrats!!!

Happy for you buddy. Good advice about not changing solicitor. I was about to change mine but had a meeting yesterday and felt good about moving forward with our appeal.

You said your case was similar to mine right? Your visa didn't come after an appeal did it? Was it under 7 year rule?

Happy for you!
