Thanks a lot for the reply, how long did it take to receive a decision after you got this letter?
Well mine was submitted on 12 April 2017
Same letter the one you got was revived on 15th December 2017 and then they give me refucsel on 6th March 2018 but they refused my application dated 15th December but refusel they hand over to me during the reporting and same time released on bail.
Are you reporting ??
Thanks again for the quick reply, and yes I am reporting(once a month). If I may ask do you know the timeframe of when your friend received his decision letter and his brp?
I think he was telling me 7/8 months
One more question was your friend lawfully in the country for 10yrs without any break in between?

Hi Sk10,

Did you manage to request a change for your hearing?

You said you paid the fees on 19/11. Did you do it yourself or through solicitor?

If so, were you ever given a receipt for the fees you paid? (a home office receipt).

Also, with your initial application, you must have paid a good amount of money for the home office fee. Again, did you ever get a receipt or proof of payment?

Thanks

I have got my hearing date in Hatton Cross court court on 10/06/19 which is too far. Is there any way that we can request tribunal to give us the date in another area even we need to travel, we do not mind.

Hi Sky 10,

I live in SE16 and got my hearing date in Hatton Cross on May 23rd.

The one who had the hearing in Birmingham lives just outside the M25 in Apsley , Hemel Hampstead. The other one lives in London, Nw10 and he got his hearing in Manchester. .. Strange right?

So, not sure what's their criteria on allocating these
Hi sky 10, when did you put in your appeal and payment of £140 ? Thanks

Hi vini81,
I have paid fees myself for appeal and for initial application. All were bank transfers.
I asked my solicitor, he simply said tribunal will not change unless there is solid reason to change but he said as I have requested my MP to request a change, tribunal might change it.
I haven’t got a reply from MP yet, they have requested tribunal to give me earlier date on 16/11 before I got the hearing date. I am not sure whether tribunal have checked the MP’s letter yet.

So 10,

Sorry to insist on this but with the fees you paid, even by bank transfer, did you ever get an email from home office confirming the payment.? (assuming that you provided email address). Anything that states payment confirmed?

Reason I am asking this is I've transferred all the money to solicitors and I think I should have done it myself instead. I didn't know there was a way of doing it ourselves. Now that I ask for proof that solicitor used the money to pay the fees, they come up with excuses instead of providing one.

Although application is live, indo know that one can apply for a fee waiver and I'm sure solicitors can have their way around it, I'm suspicious they could do so and keep ou hard earned money for themselves?! All posts are also direct with them so...

Also, about the Hatton Cross hearing, have you had any concern with their judges? I've read somewhere that they are known for being quite harsh.. Is that one of the reason you want to change?

Really appreciate your help!

Many thanks

Hi b52,

You cannot find update of case since HO won't share any information. People have been waiting from 8 to 14 months for decisions. Some could be quicker, depending on the case.

Have you been asked to provide biometrics yet? In most cases this would be around a month or so after submitting an application.

One thing that you could do is to write to your local MP and request him/her to write a letter to HO in order to gather some information. Even though HO's response will be a standard one, it's at least something you can do. I have also asked my solicitor before I had my decision to write them a letter but I don't feel it helped much.

Regards

Hi vini81,
Yeah,my solicitor also insisted me a lot that we pay him including his fees, home office fees and immigration health surcharge. But we clearly denied that we will pay everything directly. Appeal fees was also paid by us directly.
We never get confirmation email for application fees but we have got confirmation email for IHS and appeal fees as well.
In regards to your solicitor, do not worry because they can never do fee waiver unless applicant provide zero balance bank statement. Solicitor wants to pay from their bank accounts so they can show fees as their company'expenditure and get away with some taxes at the end of financial year.
But just for your piece of mind, you should have paid it directly but doesn't matter now.=
I have heard the same the judges at Hatton cross court. This is also one of the reason that I want to change. But we also want appeal date earlier.

Thank you so much for your reply. I'll leave you alone now. You've given me some peace of mind in regards to the solicitors/fees issue. It's troubling me for some time now and just the thought that they could possibly do the fee waiver thing and keep my money made me sick.

I am not sure what to do with the hearing now as I am also uncomfortable after finding out about the judges at Hatton Cross. Maybe it is worth giving it a try and request it to be changed...

It's a never ending nightmare .... :(

Thanks a lot once again!

Hi everyone, i’m trying to make an application for an flrfp. It says to include bank statements but I do not own a bank account anymore as it has been closed due to too many unplanned overdrafts and my balance being on negative for too long. What can I do in this case? Will my application be refused because of no statement?

Hi everyone , I have been stuck with some serious issues I have applied flr fp 10 yrs fresh application in may 2018 & got biometrics the next week which was given in June 2018 it was a fresh application after the last refusal ( where I wasn’t married & no exceptional things & jr refused as well ) but this time we put some serious issues coz my wife has refugee status & she don’t have her country passport so she can’t travel but sonething happened last month she fell down at home & when we been to doctors they said it’s brain cancer( stage 1) which can be treated by medicine but takes years & she’s not fit to fly until further notice she’s been admitted 8 days in hospital & we got 30 days sick not from docs ..... she really needs me this time I slept on floor 8 days in a row outside hospital
After she discharge we send her discharge note her sick leave & cover letter send to hone office on 29 nov 2018

My question is .. will they consider these new things in my application .. is there any chances ??? Or should I withdraw all these & go to cryoden with premium service or shall I wait for the results ????

Moving to another country may involve a period of hardship for any person as they adjust to their new surroundings, whether or not they have a mental or physical disability or a serious illness which requires ongoing medical treatment. But independent medical evidence could establish that a physical or mental disability, or a serious illness which requires ongoing medical treatment, would lead to very serious hardship: for example, due to the lack of adequate health care in the country where the family would be required to live. Hello, anyone filling the online flr fp form? I'm stuck as after I clicked the IHS link from the application form it gives all my details on the IHS form but strangely saying the visa type is FLR M which is not what am applying for. I'm sure I clicked the flr fp online form when I started filling. Are these online forms for FLR FP and FLR M the same? If I pay on the IHS form which tells my visa type is FLR M and doesn't give an option to edit what will happen? Am confused

On flr(fp) private life in the uk(10yr route) is it possible to granted on the fact that you have obviously been in the uk for more than 10 years(been ova stayer since 2013). I was on student visa from 2008-2013). The school I was with from 2013 was shut down by HO and my 2 year visa was revoked. I have no connection anybody back home. My parents have permanent residence in America with 2 of my siblings also ova dere as well and 2 siblings in uk who are British citizen. I have proof of my parents green card and everything else. I have Cover letter for flr fp and support letter from my 2 siblings. Is this enough documentation to be granted or I need more documentation? Any suggestions?

Post by Alaga245 » Tue Dec 18, 2018 1:43 am

Have been reading comments on here , so I decided to share my own story..i applied may18 2017 via fee waiver and the HO sent me first letter on June 1st saying my application raised issues related to the European convention on human right which are complex as such it's falls outside the normal service standard..that they Will make a decision on my case as quick as possible
August 28 the sent me a letter saying they have accepted my fee waiver and always send letter to go do boimetres.
Boimetres done same day....have been been on the waiting game and rang them 3 weeks ago and they sent me mail saying I just have to wait that my case is still on going...Please can anyone advice on what to do it's more than 6 months now
