So many people on this thread were getting a decision after 11 months in June/July/August but now it seems like no one is getting any decisions, and, it's been more than 1 year for many of us. There's no updates on their website either to give any indication to when we can expect a response.

I'm supposed to travel next week, however, it looks like I'll have to miss it.
It’s so frustrating for all of us. I asked my MP to chase in May and they replied is September with the same generic message. I complained August, same generic message. I instructed a Solicitor, generic message. I’m tired of doing this, I’ll wait and hope for the best.

Hi Flyer2pk.

Thank you for your contributions. They are helping most of us a lot.
Which address did you use to escalate? And if you don't mind, briefly what did you write?
I have contacted my MP twice and still waiting. I want to escalate as well.

Remember on the website its just an estimate of which 10% of people are getting it after or before 11 months the rest 90% they are delaying giving excuses as serious backlog

Applied FLR spouse route
Got an email on 4 August for Mrs Passport copy with signed as they think I applied on parent route instead of spouse.
They also mentioned they have in edge to make decisions if we didn't get my wife signed passport copy after 24 August.
Today is 24 one month gone.still waiting.
So frustrating being treated like this.
Job issue can't apply new jobs as they ask for work to share and process take longer than longer.........

Hello,

Sorry I can not share what I wrote because that is entire personal matter, but definitely I can share the email address :

for Escalate the Case ( complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk )
for Submission for Documents ( ssc-fhru@homeoffice.gov.uk )

But I used both email address together to escalate and send documents.

Hope this will help you.

Thank you

Thank you for the email addresses.

Sorry, I just wanted to know if It is okay to make only a complaint due to time factor or I need to have other reasons along with supported documents?

I really didn't want to believe this but I think your solicitor is right. There's a mass recruitment campaign for the Home Office at the moment, I checked their recruitment page and they are looking for 900 Customer Service/Caseworker roles and 1700+ border force officers. The backlog must be serious.
I'm ready to give up hope of getting a response this year.

I genuinely hope our decisions is around the corner despite the slowdown.
I've already disappointed myself at the 11th and 12th month and hearing million miles (above) reaching 13 month. Personally speaking, I was looking forward to going away for 4 weeks (29/09) and now it seems incredibly unlikely. It's really my fault for making plans but when I booked this in January 2022 (before the Ukraine war) the processing time showed 8 months. I completely understand helping other people but every other visa category is more or less back to normal processing time.
I have even seen on other threads people applying for ILR and getting a response back in 3 months when the advertised time is up to 6 months. I even helped my friend's 2x children apply for British citizenship and that was all done in 2 months (again advertised as 6 months) I just couldn't believe it And yet under FLR (FP) there's no movement, especially given that were paying a high price for this service.

Thats very true we have paid high price for this service and what they do is ignore us for months. Every visa category is back at its normal processing time but flr fp is still the one which is still delayed. Honestly H.O are are just ridiculous but when it comes to collect money for the application it does not even take them minutes, but decades to give decisions

Where did you get this info about HO needing 900 customer service and caseworkers? I checked their recruitment page here https://www.civilservicejobs.service.go ... ZhNzkzN2Iw and there's nothing like that.
