Hello @Kindi.
It's now been 14 months and I've still heard nothing yet. Have you heard any news on your side? My Lawyer contacted the home office and they never got back to us. Not to dampen anyones mood, but someone I know who applied for his 4th extension and waited for 2 years for a response, just got a refusal😔. It just goes to show that anything can happen really. I would expect that if you were to be refused , they will inform you early on. That was quite a shock for me anyway. I pray for positive news for all of us who are still waiting 🙏
@Pam_ieee, if you don't mind. What was the reason for your friend's refusal, after 3 successful renewals?

From what I know, I may be wrong. If you are still in a relationship with the child other parent who is British then you will have to go for a ten year route on marriage instead of parent route.
@kofi75, is there any link or reference material for this "If you are still in a relationship with the child other parent who is British then you will have to go for a ten year route on marriage instead of parent route."

Further submission submitted in June 2023
Reporting once every month.
My partner is British we live together and I'm stepfather of her kids.
Can anybody say please how long gonna take the decision on further submission. I'm an overstayer. I know there is no standard process time but should be an average time. Thank you.

Just wondering how long people have been waiting when applying under Private Life routes for processing?

A friend applied under the 20 year route in August, Biometrics in September and was granted a BRP in December. It seems that processing has been significantly sped up. I had waited 14 months between 2021 and 2022.

Only by keeping eye on timeline and or in your case when you hear directly from someone who applied

Hi All,

Sharing my experience so far hoping that maybe someone can advise.

I am Albanian with no status in the UK (application has been submitted). I got married to a British citizen and we applied for the FLR FP Super Priority route following the birth of our first child in 2023.

Biometrics: 14 Nov 23
FLR response within 24 hours saying it will not meet service standards and to choose between asylum or spouse visa
Responded to FLR team saying to withdraw asylum claim and proceed with spouse visa 15 Nov 23

Asked to attend spouse visa interview earliest available date was 19 Dec 23
Interviewer suggested we should hear back within 24 working hours after interview date.

Several weeks have passed and I have sent a complaint and request to MP for investigation into the application.

Does anyone have experience in wait times after an interview?

All criteria has been met and provided in the portal (financial requirements, evidence of relationship and living together and British child paperwork).

According to UKVI themselves, the waiting time is a year (might be more) - https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouse
If you apply inside the UK and you do not meet the minimum income requirements and English language requirements, it currently takes about 12 months to get a decision.

You submitted FLP(FP), which is what this quote refers to.

Thanks, I submitted super priority back in November and still haven't heard back. I thought 8 weeks inside the UK is for standard applicants not super priority?

Has anyone had to send a Pap due to long wait times?

Wrong to have gone for super priority, your immigration history suggest you shouldn't and had you checked well you would have seen reason why not to expect prioritisation of your application.

Sorry may I ask why it was a mistake? Several solicitors had said that having a British child and spouse was a reason in my favour on the application to apply in country..

Can someone please advise me?
I am applying for my last FLR with recourse.
Can I apply through the super priority service?
Please I would appreciate if anyone can advise me on this, as I still need to do my waiver as well.
Many Thanks

Super priority, see below;

Is it not a contradiction if you are applying for fee waiver yet bringing out money to pay for super priority service?
