I applied August 31st of last year and the application status was updated on April 21st too, to say "Awaiting Decision".

Have you tried calling the HO? I know they usually provide no information whatsoever, I'm on hold at the moment waiting to ask them for an update...
I've used both case ID and reference. It comes back as invalid. I have called the HO and they said it's just pending.

I think you need to be asking your solicitor why they aren't doing more than just sending a reminder to HO. Two years, even for the Home Office, is totally unacceptable. It's an FLR(FP) visa app yes?

How did you receive it all? Is it just Royal Mail who driver everything?

Ah okay, and thank you - I hope so!!

Did you check the application status on the website and yours also said "awaiting decision"?

Although it might not be affordable, I think you need to consider changing to a different solicitor.

It sounds like he has got the money from you now, and now he doesn't really care to be honest. :|

does anyone know what number I'd have to call Home Office at to see about my application? And do you think it'll be wise to chase them up now considering the circumstances?

Hello, Shondra Sharma. This is God's authority. Couldn't log in to my old account hence the new profile.
I guess you are also waiting for your renewal too, I am also waiting for mine. Submitted September last year. I wish you the best. Take care.

Hi guys. I wanted to update members. I could not get my case or reference ID working. Buy IHS works. It states as of 21 April the case is considered and a decision is awaiting. I called the HO. After a 40 minute wait, there is a new system in place. Had to give details again and my query on timeline was referred further. Within 5 minutes I Recieved a call back from a senior agent who read the case worker notes. He explained there have been a LOT of applications and they will contact us as soon as. It was a positive call and he said if the caseworker needed further info we would have heard. So. That's that.

Also the FLR timeline thread is JUST FOR TIMELINE. Don't post there with your history as you'll get deleted. It's a useful tool to track so please don't risk deletion or worse yet, the thread getting locked. Please read the big red letters as a warning!!

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

I gave UKIV a call today and after 40 mins wait I was told that I'd get a call back. 10 minutes later I received a call and was told to write a letter to UKIV Sheffield asking for an update on your case. So I'd like to know if should write a letter direct to the point stating facts or plead a little by saying we can't work and how badly it's affecting our lives?

If I were you I'd write a letter to my local MP instead and get them to write a letter to UKVI
