FLR (M) or PBS Research - Need Confirmation

Hi all,

I am in a tricky situation and appreciate your input.

My current Tier 1(G) visa due to expire on 27 March 2015 and I am eligible for ILR under 5 yr rule.

My wife who was issued Tier 1 depednant Visa in 2013 and joined me in Feb 2014 has got her visa expire on 27th March 2015 as well.
But as you can see she does not qualify for settlement.

However, I find that we need to go abroad for a month and coming back only on the 21st of March 2015.

While, I can send a postal application for ILR after arriving in the UK, I would like to entertain the idea of my wife
applying outside UK as that seems cheap if that is possible.

So, I did some reasearch at got the doc here (Not worried about ILR clock reset as I understand she is going to need two extensions anyway.)




I would much appreciate if you guys can comment if I hv got anything wrong there (especially the fees)

This doc not only will help me make quick decision which I need , but also would anyone in a similar situation.
