In board tradition, here is a post for the final result... :)

My wife (still getting used to saying that! :lol: ) got her visa yesterday from the Solihull PEO.

All they looked at was:

* Application/photos
* Both passports
* Marriage certificate
* 3 months bank statements (which were maxed to the overdraft limit)
* 6 months wage slips

Quite straightforward in the end. Also the booking system seems to have hanged since the last time we went in 2003. It seemed that there was a morning and an afternoon session, so they get everyone in at the start (1pm for us). There were only 8 other applications so the whole process took about 1hr 40min.

I must also say that all the PEO staff were surprisingly helpful and even cheerful. :shock:

Here's a rundown of the whole marriage to visa process:

* Applied for COA - 12th May
* COA result - 9th June
* Gave Notice of Marriage - 15th June
* Got Married - 2nd July
* PEO Appointment - 8th July (could have been 4th but couldn't make it)

So the whole process took approx. 58 days or 2 months.
