You do not have 2 active BRPs. The current or newly or most recently issued BRP trumps the former one. Youseahorse8 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 2:01 pmBrilliant, thank you
Now, I am wondering what start and end date to give for my current visa/leave to remain. I was initially given a BRP with start date 15 May 2018 and end date 4 November 2020, but I later realised the end date was incorrect, so they issued me with a new BRP on 16 October 2019 and correct end date of 14 November 2020. So technically the correct start and end dates are 15 May 2018 to 14 November 2020, but the dates are spread over two different BRPs![]()
New BRP usually supersede the older one and also, you can check it at the following website:seahorse8 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 2:01 pmBrilliant, thank you

seahorse8 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 3:35 pmThank you, yes I understand my new BRP trumps the old one. The question though says "What is the start/end date of your current visa or leave to remain"
I wonder if I should put 15/05/2018 Yes, and explain in my covering letter the discrepancy in dates? Correct
seahorse8 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 8:27 pmSo sorry, a few more questions:
When did you start living at this address?
We started living together in 2016 while I was in the UK on a Tier 4 student visa. Should I put this date, or the date I came back to the UK in 2018 on my Fiance visa so we could get married?
What type of visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission do you have to be in the UK?
I'm here on a Spouse visa - do I say 'Family' or 'Settlement'? Either one is OK
How long have you lived in the UK?
Should I put since I lived with my then-boyfriend (now husband) in 2016 (I had to return to my home country in 2017 when my Tier 4 expired), or since I came back in 2018 on a Fiance visa?
When did you enter the UK?
The first time I ever came (2014 on a short term study visa), or when I came on my Fiance visa (2018)?
When did you start living together in a relationship?
Again, in 2016 when we lived together on my Tier 4, or 2018 when I returned on a Fiance visa? 2018 but give a background that in 2016 you lived together while relationship started.
seahorse8 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 6:26 pmThank you again. Just a few more questions I would like to check please:
Are there any factors which would make it difficult or impossible for you to integrate and establish a private life in your home country if your application is refused?
I have said 'Yes', because: I have established a life with my husband in the UK since February 2018. We both have jobs in the UK and are planning to buy a house and have children here. It would be difficult for me to move back to my home country as my husband would have to apply for a visa/residence permit to live there. He also does not speak the language, so it would be difficult for him to integrate and find a job, and for us to establish a new life. This, therefore, would make it difficult for me to go back to my home country.
Is this a suitable answer? I have just been honest. l
Please list your shared financial responsibilities and how much you each pay each month
Council Tax and Rent is in both our names. The money comes out of our joint bank account so we don't really think of it as contributing 50% each or anything, but should I still give the total for each and how much 50% each is? e.g. rent £500 per month (£250 each per month)? Or just give the total amount?
Also for Council Tax the first month is always a bit more than the rest of the year, do I have to say this amount or just state the amount we are currently paying?
Do you or your partner have any physical or mental conditions which require at home personal care or medical assistance?
Does this include medical conditions like asthma which I treat and manage myself, or just if a carer comes to visit?
What type of ceremony was your wedding or civil partnership?
We got married ina register office. Do I say "Register office wedding" or Civil Ceremony? Either ok
Please explain why you and your partner cannot live together outside the UK.
I answered this above in the part about being able to integrate into my home country. Can I repeat the answer here, it is pretty similar after all. Yes
When did the current employment begin?
I started in May 2019 in one role, but changed to a different role in June 2019. Does this mean when my employment at the company began (May), or when my employment in my current role began (June)? Either one and explain the otherr
Employment: What do you earn?
The same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount or Not the same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount
Does this mean my basic salary? My salary is the same each month but I sometimes work overtime so I get paid more, so I do not always earn exactly the same each month. Do I therefore put 'Not the same amount'? Or if it's just basic salary should I put 'The same amount'?
Question 1 no right or wrong answer, respond as it best suits your circumstances and as you said keep it honest.AmazonianX wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 7:07 pmseahorse8 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 6:26 pmThank you again. Just a few more questions I would like to check please:

Shared financial responsibilities can be answered in any easier & discernable way which you think of appropriate because it won't affect the decision alone. Most often the monthly repayments of council tax for the first month is slightly higher but which can be lowered & equalised with rest on request, you can even state the amount of payment from 2nd month (lower payment). Also, no need to mention Asthama as the question implying to determine disability. Regarding financial requirement simply select same amount continuously to supply 6 months of documents and then add a covering letter.
If it has the address of the accommodation and your name(s) on it then suffices.seahorse8 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 11:31 pmThank you seagul.
Tenancy agreement is listed as an example of acceptable correspondence, however our tenancy agreement wasn't posted to us - we went to the estate agent's office to sign it. It is dated, states the address and both our names, but it's not in the format of a typical 'letter', it's a contract. Would this still be acceptable?
To fortify it, you can attach your deposit protection certificate which come in its official letter head.seahorse8 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 11:31 pmThank you seagul.

yesseahorse8 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 6:44 pmJust finalising all of my documents. With regards to correspondence over the last 2 years, I'm looking at items from the following months:
October 2018
February/March 2019
July/August 2019
December 2019/January 2020
May/June 2020
October 2020
Do the above look reasonably spaced out? There is approximately 3/4 month gaps between each one.
No harm in going slightly above than the threshold.
They can be used as evidence of cohabitation too.
Thank you AmazonianX. Is it best to separate the cohabitation correspondence into individual files, or to put it all together in one file as long as it is under 6MB? Also the payslips and bank statements for the financial requirement, is it better to submit each one individually or combine in one PDF file? Or it makes no difference as long as I submit them?
They can all be lumped together and sent and you still get your positive outcome however there are instances of people who submitted all needed paper works yet were told something is not there and application refused. Later at appear or AR found that they submitted all required.seahorse8 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 12:33 pmThank you AmazonianX. Yes but add a covering letter drawing the caseworker's attention over it instead leaving on him/her to presume that.
