Biometric
----------
1. Can I submit my documents before getting biometric appointment?
2. My employee letter is dated 16th Nov and my date of application is 7th Dec. Is that okay (date in the emp letter) even If I get delayed 2 weeks to get appointment?
1. Yes if you will get that option usually a button come into existence for this. But normally the applicant actually has the appointment before which may be able to submit the documents.

2. Date of the submission of application instead biometrics is the date of application and would be the baseline.
Thanks Seagul for your reply. Apologies, I did not catch the 2nd point. Date of Application Submission is the base line? or Biometric date?

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and that is the date relevant to your documents. They must be dated on or before this date.

Your biomteric appointment date is irrelevant.

Is there rule, saying we have to get the employee letter within 28 days of Application submission? However I have letter dated 16th and My application submission date is 7th (So I have 20 days- within limit)

Where Appendix FM-SE requires the applicant to provide specified evidence relating
to a period which ends with the date of application, that evidence must be dated no
earlier than 28 days before the date of application.

FLRM - Absense
-------
How do I fill below 'one' journey ? Tough to articulate...

Scenario:
---- -------------
Left uk on 31st Dec to India
Return journy started from India on 20th Jan
Stayed 20th Jan Night in Muscut(oman)..Entered into Country Oman, visa stamp placed in passport
Reached UK on 21st Jan

Question:-
1. Should I mention only 31st UK out and 21st UK in dates and ignore 'the Oman Stay' ?
2. OR Should I need to include to mention 20th Jan night stay in Muscut? then in that case, what would be the order and what should I put UK enter date and UK out date of my Oman stay in the application?

The entry/exit date to/from UK is what is important. Mention the final destination when listing the absence and provide the transit country i.e. Oman night stay in the reasons section.

UK to India

31st Dec to 21st Jan

Reason: India (Holidays etc)
Oman: 1 night stay 20th Jan.

If it was a transit flight where you stayed at Oman airport then even skipping Oman altogether wont cause any harm.

I have applied set LR Nov 18th 2020 and set FLR M on 7th Dec 2020
any advise from any one?
As per timeline the ILR is issued those who applied after 18th Nov
Is there any way to contact home office via email?
