second this. Even when my mp contacted them they talk BS. First time they told my mp ive been staying here illegally and my application was out of time, where in fact ive been living here legally for 14 years(long story about ilr) and my application was well in time. Second time they said i hadnt submitted an application, but i had the postage reference and biometric reference. third time was the standard it hasnt reached a caseworker.

I am sorry that miss D felt that our service did not meet her expectations on this occasions. Please note that two previous response have been sent to miss d regarding the progress of her application on the 25 april 2013 and 04 june 2013. However as requested I have reviewed miss d concerns thoroughly and would like to apologise for the delay in considering her application for leave to remain(LTR)

Miss d application was submitted on 5th october 2012 temporary migration casework teams have seen larger than anticipated volumes of applications including (FLR O) applications,and have been deploying additional staff resources on an ongoing migration back within service standards as soon as possible.

As part of our continued efforts to improve customer service we have seperated family applications into four distinct work streams
A) spouse/partner cases
B) non-pbs work routes, such as domestic worker
C) visitors
D) human rights and outside rules claims

This allows us to deal with cases with increased efficiency and offer a more tailored customer service for each work stream.

For category A-C we are already at normal operation levels and will be working witgin service standards in the next couple weeks. For human rights claims we are working towards a 12 week service standard and we aim to be at normal operational levels by summer.

I note that miss d provided her biometric on 1st march 2013. I can confirm that her application as been allocated a caseworker for urgent consideration and we will write to miss d shortly.

If miss d submitted her application prior to the expiry of her previous LTR then the conditions attached to her previous leave will continue to apply until a decision is reach on her outstanding case.

If miss d has any evidence that she needs to travel urgently due to serious family or employment reasons or wishes to withdraw her application she can contact our croydon centre.

Date payment taken -23rd october 2012
Method of payment- Debit card

My application is being dealt in my local active review team, I was wondering its nearly 6 months since I made my application and I have not even received Biometric invitation letter.

Can I do something to chase them, the guide says my application will be dealt as soon as possible... But I don't know what is as soon as possible in UKBA definition.

I have to disagree, sharing timeline won't provide much support and will throw up further questions. I think the forum is doing well to support each other and should keep it up.As a lot of members find comfort on here don't forget this is a support network, as long as we are on the topic of flro we are cool.
