IHS payment and VFS Global

Hi every one,

I have applied for a spouse visa for my wife and I submitted the online application form and paid for the visa and booked an appointment at VFS office. However there was no option during the online application to pay for IHS, and after I booked the appointment for biomatrics to be taken there was a message to register on the VFS global.

Would anyone please advise me on the following issues please.
1- How long after my wife's biometrics appointment I have time to send the original documents to Sheffield (I dnt want to give the documents to the VFS office overseas).
2- Do I need to register with VFS global and booked the same appointment with them which was booked previously when the online application was made? or just make a log in and user name?
3- How can I to pay the IHS? I checked the IHS website and there was just an option to calculate the NHS surcharges and no option to pay! THe other option was to tick some boxes and it says I dn't need to pay as I am applying online!

maybe you have applied wrong visa because without paying the application fee & IHS fee the spouse visa application won't be submitted.
