Marriage breakdown - cancelling spouse visa

Hi there, my spouse came here on a spouse visa two years ago but our marriage broke down due to domestic violence and financial abuse.
We have now separated and hone office was informed about the breakdown in the relationship six months ago but he remains in the country working.
As far as I know his visa should be void but HO not taken any action. Any idea how I can check in the HO know about him and what action they plan to take if any?

I am a British citizen and he is non EU Lebanese here on a spouse visa 2.5 years

The HO are required to update you on the situation and are unlikely to do so. Your husband's right to remain in the UK may not be terminated until he applies for his next visa extension .

Do you have any children together?

Right I see... no we don’t have any children.
We do have a domestic violence case going on though atm if that’s of any relevance and I am the victim.

Did you inform the HO through the online consent and statement forms?
