I thought that the date of application would be the date on which I submitted the documents online i.e. 23/10/2020 but in their email to me, they stated the application date as 11/10/2020 i.e. when I paid for it.

Escalated my case via phone call on Oct 8 and received reply email on Oct 28 but it was an auto reply and it said everything should be ok, I just need to wait.. keep waiting. Now it's my 6th months and I hope I can get the result soon...

Update 3:

Received an email from FHR2 on 12th Jan 2021 asking more documents. I sent my old UK Naric Comparability statement (BLUE) which was used in 2017 where mention degree are equal to UK Master degree and visa was granted. But now officer said " I need to see the second part of the statement confirming that the degree was taught or researched in English to level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or above."

In this comparability statement there its not mentioned about level of English.
In this situation, I contact UK Naric where they said you have to apply UK Visa and Nationality service to get that English language level with comparability statement. Same day I applied and take 48hrs service paid £316.80 to get this letter. Today received letter from UK Naric and I sent to FHR2.

Now I hope decision will come soon. Finger crossed.

Alhamdulliah.... Finally received a decision email last evening after 4 month and 6 days.VISA GRANTED for 30months on 5 year route.

Additionally I contact my local MP on 18th Dec 2020 to send email to Home Office where he replied on 22nd December 2020 and said he sent the email to home office and it will take 4 weeks normally to get back from home office. After one month received a decision email.

9 month wait...sent a letter to my MP around mid December who wrote back to me and said they contacted the HO. Unsure if this made any difference. It was the most basic application (only used my income, married, own a house together).

Absolutely no communication from the HO for 9 months between application and decision made apart from the biometric invitation (which isnt the HO). If they were an actual business with competition they wouldve been bankrupted a decade ago from their terrible service.
