ok Michael, I mean 'Micheal'.
A word to the wise...
You will need to straighten this all out, sooner or later, if you have ambitions for the privilege of citizenship & a British passport;
fyi - HMPO plays hard ball with any questions around identity, names & foreign passports.
A member recently posted a case where the British passport was refused as someone's name was all squished into the 'first name';
(even though the naturalisation section of HO had actually naturalised the person with just that 'first name' & it was all in the right order).
In your case your last name has been changed which is more of a challenge.
You had posted & linked from other threads about name changes & identity/passports. If you have passport already then all good.2kuayyaz wrote: Thanks for the reply.
Sorry maybe I wasn't clear. I am British and I've just started the process of calling my wife over to the UK. But I'm worried it will get rejected because my name on the nikka nama (marriage certificate) does not match the name on the passport, because the middle name and the last name are the wrong way round on my Nadra card (Pakistan ID card) which was used to make my nikka nama.
So are you saying they may reject my wife's settlement visa because of this?

Looking for some insight.
Long story short, there was some mix up on my birth certificate which my parents did not rectify which lead to my middle name becoming my family name and vice versa.
So for example, our family name is Micheal. But instead of John James Micheal, it went down as John Micheal James.
This hasn't been a issue so far as in some documents (i.e. my British passport) it says John James Micheal, and in others (i.e. my Nadra Card or Pakistan ID card) it says John Micheal James.
But I just recently got married in Pakistan and am looking to calll my wife over. They used the name on my Pakistan ID Card for my Nikka Namma, which is different to what is on my British passport.
Can anyone advice me if this will become an issue in the application or be a reason for them to reject my visa application?
Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can give.
