Thank you all

KJ29 - why was your wife's visa refused?

The status has now been changed to 'your passport is ready for collection; please visit UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same'

My wife will be picking up the visa later today

reason i didnot submit my bank statements my businesseses details and didnot had property inspection report raimann, I just did not take any advise, I was under the impression if they needed any further info they will contact me, obviously not they just want reasons to refuse and have you seen mp parliament report in which UKBA has been critisised please read link below

I have checked the checklist i provided everything on their, only thing missing was my wife's previous passport, do you think this will matter?

Have you reapplied for the visa again?

yes raimann i have applied on 04/11 i am visting my wife in india again it is requirement that u should submit your previous passports saying that my wife forgot to enclose her previous passport but they did not refuse her on that point so my thoughts are they can refuse if they want to and it depends on the eco

good luck to everyone in their wait....recent experiences here suggests that people get it after around 60 working days.

I know Kj29, but the websites do not give the real picture of the job market, hence i thought to ask if anyone is aware of it ... ...
