@Ejaz: Sorry mate, no updates :(

@Moderator/Others: Does any one have any insight on the below query?
My husband recently changed his job in April and is now working for a different company. The documents we have submitted states his prior company(A) as the employer( as during the time of submission he was still employed with company A). Can that cause any sort of hindrance to the application?

Please help!

Hi there,
Firstly thanks to all on this forum. Indeed its very helpful information for everyone who are in the process of applying to UK.
Iam on Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK visa holder & applied settlement visa for my wife & daughter from VFS Hyderabad on 13th April'11.
Obviously the waiting times are looking almost over 8 weeks. Can anyone please share if they receive any calls to the applicant or sponsor towards application in the process?

Many thanks!

Best Regards,
Reachmm

55th working day and still waiting.

considering the visa is for a 5 month old baby (was 3 months old when we applied) and both parents have ILR, makes you wonder what checks are they performing???

feeling so low today...

i think the problem is with Dehil BHC not the VFS centres. My wife applied with Jalandhar as at the time Chandigarh were taking longer processing times, but i realise now it really doesnt matter about that, its down to the Delhi BHC and how long they take

I guess your application is processed and in a queue to be dispatched from BHC... So it might be dispatched from BHC on next Monday or Tuesday...

P.S. I m just guessing... I may be wrong too.

No indication at all. I called up a few weeks back and they told me to wait and try again in a week. But that was 2 weeks ago and its still the same.

I called up the BHC Delhi but they seem to not give out information at all.

Do you think they know or are just clerks with limited information????

Another week goes by and no news!

I will be entering the 12th week now and also next week will see the 60 working days end. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thankfully, although Monday is a bank holiday in the UK, for BHC, India it is a working day.

Hi aceg135,
Which high commission did you apply to, Delhi or Chennai?
and what exact date did you apply?
my wife applied on 22nd March to BHC New Delhi, and we are still waiting.
Thanks,

Application timeline

Post by immigrant_aa » Mon May 30, 2011 8:42 am

Hi,

It seems that none of us have heard back from the BHC. Personally, I applied at the BHC Delhi in early April 2011, but no news so far.

It seems that they haven't gotten around to processing applications made in early March, I wonder why the high commission is being exceptionally slow...

Guys,

Has anyone had any luck today? I noticed yesterday that the April 2011 processing time has been updated and it seems very less number of settlement applications were processed last month.

I hope they have cleared off the backlog during May and we will get our processed applications soon.
