Hello all i am new on this.
Please i really need some advice im stressed out soo much i have applied for spouse visa please see below:
NON PRIORITY

biometrics 17th january 2019
documents received @ Sheffield on the 21st january 2019
documents returned 6th february 2019
email received it will be forwarded to ECO on the 14th february 2019
this isnt my 1st application has been refused before.
i am sick and worried somebody please give me some advice.

Email from Sheffield: 3 February 2019 "application is being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer...." (seems like a standard email)

Sponsor called Sheffield for an update: 11 February 2019 - I was told nothing more then the status of the application "awaiting decision"

Emailed local MP: 27 February 2019 - despite it not being 60 days we decided to write to the local MP anyway to make them aware of our case and to ask whether he could assist in any way. He responded the same day that he will try and help.

Email Sheffield: 28 February 2019 - we emailed Sheffield asking for an update. You pay just over £5 but can email numerous times for updates so we figured this is the best option. We got a standard reply that we are "awaiting a decision" - nothing out of the ordinary. We followed up with further emails asking for updates on 5 March, 7 March and the 8 March. Given no new information but they always emailed us back within 1-2 days.

14 March 2019 - DAY 50 - Both the sponsor and applicant received an email that we have been requested to attend interviews. Both interviews will be conducted over the phone. Interview's will be separate but at the exact same time. We will be asked the same questions and then our answers will be compared. Questions will be regarding: application, applicants travel history and most importantly our relationship. Interview will be conducted in about a week so still within the 60 day timeline!!!!

22 March 2019 - Interview conducted: Both of us were interviewed separately on the phone, at exactly the same time, we got asked the same questions

25 March 2019 - Received the classic "not straight forward" automated email. We have contacted the local MP as well as Sheffield asking them what is going on. Apparently they are doing some "mandatory checks" ...does anyone know what these mandatory checks are?

1 April 2019 - DAY 62 .....STILL WAITING !!!!!!!!!!!

Still not heard anything and have noticed a lot of people getting emails so later on towards the end of there 12 weeks saying case is not straightforward making me so worried

Received a call today from homeoffice 8am in the morning had a interview for at least about 20-30 mins ... Answered every single questions mainly about my work ...
feeling alot better and positive Alhamdullilah
now the rest is up to Allah sweet.
