Any updates on people that have appealed?

I wanted to know when you receive Call in Letter who is the recipient?

Also who do they call?

What is the procedure?

Thank you!

@XnailaX

Once the appeal has been received in Leicester, they usually take around 10 working days to record your appeal and then send you a reciept.

as most of you might be aware of the fact that from 24th Oct any nikahnamas sibmitted from Pak need to be attestes by local union councils. mine was done in Islamabad where there is no union council, the body which issues nikahnamas in Islamabad is arbitration council. but they are not ready to attest the nikahnama as they are not aware of any such change in the rule by the embassy. is anyone els in this situation too?
i am going to submit my spouse visa application next week, the arbitration council has given me a letter with thier stamp on it stating the details of my nikahnama registeration but they just wont attest the actual nikahnama.

any help would be appreciated.

thank you
Why is there no union council in Islamabad?
And when you had your nikah done, where you given a certificate? is that not enough?
Why wont there attest the actual nikahnama?

My wife applied earlier this month and Gerry's wouldn't take the set of photocopies saying it's not needed. Can anyone who has applied recently confirm or otherwise?

Also is there no longer a spreadsheet? Who are the October and November applicants?

What is the current waiting time?

I have been away for a few days and will now update the spreadsheet. Just to save me going through all the pages can Oct/Nov applicants pm me so that I can add their details on.

Also I will need someone who I will give full access to for the spreadsheet, so that they can update it when I am not available. If interested, please pm me. Thanks
