naz08: status has been updated on the net, it says go and collect app, but i have phoned them they have said u have to wait for a call,

please everybody pray that it goes well and i get a call very quick!!

Naz - remain patient girl, each case is worked on its own merits. It doesnt necessarily mean anything. You'll be fine girl Inshallah.

One thing that annoys me is that it is the VAC that controls the updates on the website. Why change the status telling someone to come & collect your passport, and then turn them away when they arrive at the VAC for collection with various excuses such as its not here yet, or wait for the call.

Is it that hard to co-ordinate the website update with the call and collection!!! Its shocking that this level of mis-management is allowed to prevail, with us lot left to suffer!!

hi all i got email frm bhc and they said;
I am able to inform you that your husband's application is about to conclude , his papers & passport will be despatched to Gerry's International accordingly , their staff will contact him to inform when to collect documents from their branch, pls can someone tell me what that means thanks byee

My wifes online status has been changed to:
Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same 22 Oct 2008.
I honestly cant believe we could be together again very soon. I have had a miserable time soooo far away from her. Please pray for us that its not a No.
She applyd in Mirpur on 17th Sep. I think we have to wait for them to call us. Good luck to everone and esp those who applyd aroud the 17th you should all be getting some news soon.

Naz me wife applyd in Mirpur so she does not know where to go until they phone her. Because like Jav_04 said the Mirpur Office is closed. I dont think they are open even just to give back Passports.
Naz and Jav im sure ur status will change very soo. Inshallah we will all get great news and we can then start living our lives. Because when ur away from ur husband/wife ur alive but not really living(I hope that makes sense, in my mind i know what i mean Lolllz)...

And mrsi u should complain, I mean what they are doing is totally not on. If I was you I would fax them on 0092 51 2824728. They are playing with ur lifes and putting u through all this unnecessary suffering. Maybe you should also get legeal help. Legally they dont have a leg to stand on.

yeh it i closed..people are picking there passports @ da islamabad office..whether its mirpur or islamabad....they are all going to the same place to pick it up no harm is going down there n checkn is der/.........im prayn i hear sumting soon its bin agesssss now

Salaam everyone!!
Ive had gud news but Ive just not had a chance to come on the site.
My wife has finally got her visa. The website was updated on 9th oct.
My wife went to the gerry's office in islamabad last weds (15th) but they sent her back, the next they called her and told her to come down. So she went on friday 17th and and the passprt was ready with the stamp.

It Had been stamped since the 30th of sept!! so shes had to rush. Inshallah will be here on saturday.

To those of you who havent heard anything just keep praying and inshallah you will get your visa's, may allah make it easy for all of you.

hi guys the misses got a call in the morning to come and collect her passport, at 9:00 am tomorrow, pleased do dua for us. Insha-allah we will all get the news we are looking for v soon, i will be doing dual for all and may allah give us the news we want. (AMEEN).

oahmed: hi the status changed yesterday i checked it at about 1:00 pm our time it was 6:00 pm pk time,
the misses then got a call today at 4:00am our time and it was about 9 ish over there so really within about 16 hours or so.

she has been told to collect from islamabad
