no change from my end yet u now what i aint gna hear anything any time soon either....by the looks of it

guess what the mrrisge ting changing this month.. age wise

"The age at which someone can apply for a marriage visa will increase from 18 to 21 from the end of this month, the Government announced today.

From 27 November both parties in a marriage will have to be 21 before a marriage visa can be issued. Raising the age is just one part of the Governmentâ€™s work to crackdown on forced marriage and on those who attempt to abuse the marriage visa route."

Thanx Naz08 - status on the website changed at about 4pm UK time & my missus got the call this morning 7.30am UK time. Please remember me in your duas .... am soooo hoping my missus gets the visa inshallah!!

Hi Naz08,

No you should not worry, because you will fall under the old criteria if your application rejects for some reasons. so dont worry.

i just checked our status... and its back today 5th Nov... wat happens now??? can my wife go in 2maro ??? or does she has to wait for the fone call... am so exicted... plz plz plz pray for us ...very nervious.

Hi All

My missus went this morning - and the told her to come back again tomorrow coz the passport has not arrived!! What a joke!! Was well wound up earlier, Ive calmed down now.

Its just ridiculous how they mess pples lives around. They call my missus to tell her to collect at a certain time, when she turns up it aint there!!

Just going to remain patient, Inshallah will find out tomorrow.

Please pray for me.

That is really harsh! Does your wife live far from Lahore?

If that happend to my wife I would be fuming, as Lahore is a 4 hour drive from Mirpur.

If they said the passport has not arrived, shouldnt that mean shes's got the visa? or did they mean the application?

Oh man thats bad, I can feel your pain, they did the same to my missus but that was for submitting the application. Chalo Inshallah you will hear the good news.

We too applied at lahore, a week after your application so I suppose its matter of time before we get a response too....

Hi all

Indeed it was all very frustrating, esp. as you build yourself up ... I hada horrible night, couldnt sleep as I was so nervous ... then they tell you to come back again. Gotta go through it all again!!

Oh well inshallah my patience will be rewarded. Please remember me in your duas!!

Del Piero - it seems like they are getting through the applications now so inshallah you'll hear smthg soon.

Kam1 - they said the passport was not there or anything ... not sure what that means... remaining hopeful.

Naz - on my first time around, it took 9/10 to get a response. Might be worth hanging on or email them again saying that you've had numerous contacts and nothing has yet been sorted, and just ask them the reason for the delay. Inshallah you will get some good news.

Salaam guys hope u are all doing well and i can understand wat u all are going through it is very hard to be livin widout ur partners ..my hubby is here since saturday and i am over the moon

and i am praying InshAllah each and every1 gets there partners visa who are waiting . i have applied 3 times for sppouse visa and after 1 year and 3 months later my husband is with me with all this i also wana add that this time i am sure my husband got his visa coz of some wazeefa i did and i would like to share this with everyone and INSHALLAH it will work for you all
500 hundrend time ya musabibal asbab after every esha prayer and and dont stop until u get the visa i am sure it will work . i hope this works out
