RiFF wrote:Yes it is, as far as the rejection reasons go for your last application. But another advice is dont get too focused on the rejection reasons and make the rest of the application sloppy.

I am sure you will get it right this time around. Good Luck!
Thanks Riff,

I have a meeting with my solicitor on Monday and we'll start the preparations. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

I hope the further political in-fighting doesn't cause further delays Islamabad!

Not really, because the BHC is already transitioning most of the applications to Abu Dhabi, and in the very near future, all the applications will be handled from Abu Dhabi.

So, let the bombs rock Islamabad :P Your application should be safe in the UAE.

Retrospectively, yes, I hope the situation does improve.

Hi Escoba,

Thanks for the info, my wife is submitting her app on 12th march in Karachi, Thats the earliest date we could get from fedex. We got this date on the 20th of feb. The wifey keeps askin how long its gonna take and I dont know what to tell her.

Ive got a guy doing the app for me, known him for years and he works with visas and stuff, Just wanted to get some sort of idea on how long it would take.

Thanks guys!

What can I say? The pakistanis can never get anything right, the shoothing in Lahore is a pure example. We were told 60 day wait, I emailed a couple of days b4 he got his visa and the unit manager also said to wait 60 days. But after a few of you got a reply back I thought I'd email again and thats when we were told.

So my advice keep on checking...if I had not emailed islamabad and had waited his 28 days would have run out and would have caused problems.
A few people on this forum have complained about hthis and have been in the same situation. We have just have keep on top and not totally rely on them.

Hi Escoba,

Thanks for all the info, How soon do you think I should wait before I start emailing them? Its confusing because one of the members family got a reply within 10 days. Should i start emailing them after a week? and shall i continue to email them every 3 days or so? what do you think? Thanks. As you can see im already panicking.

LOL !!!

Her eis some advice for you young lady, though you might not need it as you are intelligent enough to sort it out for yourself :P

When your hubby gets there, get his an NINO, an NHS card, bank account and a provisional driving license as soon as possible, this is going to affect his ILR in 2 years time.

Wish you both the very best for the future :)
