Well guys..look at the stats for the months of AUG 09 for visa processing guide line time. Its shows only 258 settlement visa applications were sent to UKBA from Pakistan. I dont think there are much appeal cases in those settlement cases application on allowed appeals. seems there are not working on it as appeal cases are simple cases and it doesnt require further verifications as it already passes throught so many verifications & checks and in the end the JUDGE gives his decision in the favor of the appellant. As i applied from Karachi. they only dealt with 11 applications from karachi for settlement cases.

Hi

I think someone posted on this forum that BHC had stoppeed working between 29 july and 20 august due to the office move. Maybe these stats explain that. But I think Batley Khan advised that these stats are not so accurate anyway. My wife also applied from karachi and she has waited for over 12 weeks with no reply and BHC will re-open tomorrow after 2 days eid holiday. Lets hope they get there skates on and start process a lot quicker. For the £585.00 we pay the service is very poor

I have been e-mailing UKHUB every week for a month and today I got this message:

Dear Mr XXX

A decision has been made on your Visa application. You will be contacted shortly through Gerry's International in due course.

Your patients in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

UKHUB Pakistan

The status on www.vfsglobal.org still has staus 'Application forwarded to Islamabad OC on'

Now I have to sit tight and wait for that call from my husband with the result!

I really hope its good news! Insha'ALLAH!

Hi 2036789

I received this response direct from UKHUB.PAKISTANGeneralEnquiries@fco.gov.uk. My MP was due to follow up on Friday of this week.

I did not use any template letter or permission letters. I just provided the following information in any correspondance whether it be UKHUB or my local MP.

Date of submission:
Name of Applicant:
DOB:
Tracking Ref:
Passport number:
Gerrys Tracking number:

I hope this helps.

Dear Najraj

Thanks for the prompt reply .i have been contacting both Ukhub and visa.adbudhabi for the past few weeks but never had any reply.today i got an e-mail from Abu.dhabi saying the same thing that to contact UKHUB.but didn't get any reply from UK HUB.
My husband contacted them several times but they didnt bother replying to him either.Really dont know what else i can do as they seem to be so ignorant.

Did u just ask for update on your application? or did u ask them to speed up the process or anything.

Really worried

Hi Learner007

I sent emails to UKHUB every week and persisted until I got a response. I can only assume that unless they have some information for you (e.g. a decison being made), then they will reply to your e-mail. They cannot speed up the process.

My local MP has only been involved for two weeks and he was advised to contact them again in a weeks time and if there was no news then UK Visas will contact the Entry Clearance Officer in Islamabad.

Regards

My wife applied on 06th August 2009 as dependent VISA, .

I emailed Dubai Embassy regarding status update about week ago, and got following reply today.

Thank you for your email, Your application currently being processed and decision will be made shortly.

Any idea how long it will take further according to previous experience, as most of guys in this topic have passed or passing through nearly same scenario.

Many Thx,

I dont think they are being ignorant, they just get sick and tired of people wanting an update every week after lodging an application. I think some people are just a bit to impatient after lodging an application and want immediate answers.

The staff at UKBA or BHC AbuDhabi wont respond to people untill the minimum waiting time they have stated is up ( which is about 90 working days at the moment).

The other thing to remember is that Pakistan is one of the highest per number of visa applications to the UK, so that is why it takes a bit longer than in other countries.
