Thank you for contacting the UK Visas & Immigrations International Enquiry
Service.

The status of your Visa application is as follows:
The visa application has not yet been assessed by an Entry Clearance
Officer (ECO).

There are on going changes in the UK Family Migration Immigration Rules in
Pakistan, which has lead to some applications being placed on hold. The
Home Office has appealed this decision but still awaiting conclusion. We
are not able to provide you further details regarding this matter in the
interest of data protection.
Normal processing times DO NOT apply to this situation.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hi Zeeh, is your application on hold due to income threshold?

 Good question ket1!!! Lol I need to know that! Does anyone know? Or will we find out on Friday?! Lol

Safikazmi12 I don't know what's going to happen, just that a judgement will be passed on whether the 18600 is going to be reduced or not. And whoever loses if they can appeal or not.
That's what people have said, that's what the sites are saying, who knows wht will happen lol :?: :!: :?:

Salam.Guys,

I just wanted to get some thoughts. I have been waiting for my wife's application since 24/12/13, I emailed my MP a couple of weeks, he emailed ukvi and this is how they responded:

“With applications such as Mrs Javaid’s, there are a number of checks that must be completed before a decision can be reached, including some with authorities outside UK Visas and Immigration; for example other agencies or government departments, local authorities or the police.

Therefore a decision on Mrs Javaid’s application is still outstanding and I regret the delay in this matter.

However, once the outstanding checks have been completed, we will be in a position to make a decision on Mrs Javaid’s application and we will contact her accordingly.”

No mention of additional documents required like some people have been asked to send in. Does this response just mean I should wait it out a little longer and in sh Allah I should get a response soon?

Thanks
