Hi My wife collected her passport and documents today, unfortunately visa was refused on the basis of cambridge website not having a record of the the Original Cambridge certificate which was submitted in my application. To add salt to the wound I checked the certificate on the Cambridge website and its clearly there.

This is getting beyond ridiculous not only its costing enormous amount of money but the stress levels are through the roof. These people are messing with peoples livelihood.

Please can someone advice best and quickest way to resolve this.

feel sorrow for you guys, may Allah swt accept your efforts, its v v upsetting indeed, feels like they find a reason to refuse by crook and they hook eventually, either by messing with the docs and by not finding payslips/ bank statements actually returned in the docs or as in your situation which is now becoming most common reason for this week, all rest are feeling like 'bakra' waiting for 'Qasai'...and indeed, turn...

State how much of your sponsor’s monthly income is given to family members or other dependents.

what do they mean by this? as i am a little confused. does this mean money i spend in regards to my sons food, clothing and school transport ??

hope someone can clarify
No spend necessarily but how much do you give to people that need money from you to live such as rent money, petrol
still don't seem to get this. i have my rent and council tax paid in full, i don't really give anybody any money

would school pickups and drop offs could i count that in living expenses?

Oh, seems like the smallest thing can lead to a refusal. Insha Allah your new application will be successful.
InshaaAllah you will be fine, just make duaa I was so stress too because I didn't submit any house report or rent book apart from lease, not even English language test apart from Naric comparability letter and got visa so you just be positive and make duaa for urself and for others.

Not sure of the question myself. Someone on the expat forum also got refused today I think. Her reason for refusal was also related to the English test.

I'd say talk to the centre people and get a letter from them stating the problem and best thing would be is to appeal

If you have a letter from NARIC then you don't need to take the English test.

If you're living alone in the property, then you don't need the housing report or if it's just a couple. As long as it's not overcrowded with tenants or family members. Otherwise you were lucky.

I guess problem regarding English test is already discussed
Quick solution is contact awarding body and get letter from them
Go to your MP and ask him to contact BHC
People did this and got this visa in two weeks.

This is not a suprise to me the UKVI are dileberately doing this as they don't like the old system at all but DEFINITELY appeal get a letter from Cambridge English and the test centre and you should be good don't forget to include your confirmation of Entry.

Also anybody affected in the same way please let me know as I will be calling Cambridge English tomorrow as I can get in touch with their UKVI relations officer and tell her the situation as then it will help speed up our appeals
