I haven't got any reply from BHC ,it's only my MP told that my application on hold due to the income threshold. I told her that I meet the threshold. She advise me to ask solicitor to contact them and now solicitor wants to send some additional documents related to the finance part . Please advise if you know how can and what Address I can send them the documents

Congratulations nadizee and everyone who got their visas! :D

Can anyone tell me, is there an expiry date on all the English tests they do in Pakistan and if yes does your certificate have to be valid after you receive your visa to travel?

Depending which test you take it could be valid for 2 years or for lifetime. My wife took English Cambridge KET and apparently its valid for lifetime.

Whichever test you take it should be valid at time of application for your visa, doesn't matter if it expires before travel date or visa issue date even.

Its better to do a test thats valid for lifetime, as I think it may come in handy when your spouse comes to apply for ILR later down the time as there's an english requirement at that stage too as well as life In the UK knowledge test.

Thank you for contacting the UK Visa and Immigrations International Enquiry
Service.

We have service standards for processing UK visa applications which state
that we will process 95 per cent of settlement applications within 12 weeks
of the application date and 100 per cent within 24 weeks of the application
date. Each application is assessed individually and processing times may
vary, hence applicants are requested to be patient and wait for the
processing to be completed.

UK government announced that Number of settlement applications from non-EEA
partners on hold pending the results of a judicial review therefore It may
take longer as usual.

I would interpret that as them asking you to be patient and wait your turn, them explaining what the set out service standards are and then making an excuse as to why they're not meeting them by saying there is a high number of people applying that don't fit the criteria (people that will be put on hold).

To be sure though I would just email them again.

I emailed them last week saying that other December applicants have heard back and they said that it hasn't even been assessed yet. They asked for detailed info so they could escalate. Similar to the email that others have had. I've also emailed my mp. Not heard from either place as of yet
