Thankyou for this info!! Was yours on an appeal too? Of you dnt mind me asking
Yeah, my appeal (here is my full timeline) was allowed on 5 March and I had to wait for 14 days to see if the Home Office appeals against it. But then everything got shut and if was difficult to get updates for a while. When I contacted the HO in May, they informed me that the decision had been sent to the High Commission in my country in April itself. So right now it's just a waiting game.

VFS is opening on 6 July in my country so hopefully, they ask me to submit my passport soon after that. I'll contact the HO again for an update and the procedures in the next couple of weeks.
Does anyone know how long the visa is valid now because theres covid 19 and some countries still has a lockdown. Is it still one month or more?
Applicants are reporting getting 3months visa vignette on their passport in recent time.

Someone posted on here that the VAC in Pakistan opens 27th July.

On VFS website it says 8th July.

News update posted on 02 July 2020

News

Passport Return - Getting your documents

Before our Visa Application Centres re-open for appointments, we want to prioritise returning customer passports.

Therefore, from 08 July 2020, our teams will be returning to the Visa Application Centres in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore to start this work.

If your passport is at one of these Visa Application Centres and a decision on your application has been made, we will contact you to arrange its return.

If your application has not been decided, we will not contact you to return your passport until it has. However, if you would like your passport returned, even if your application has not been decided, please contact us, using the link at the bottom of this page, to arrange its return.

Please note: these Visa Application Centres are not yet open for new appointments, and customers must not visit without prior arrangement.

Thank you for your understanding.

Same :(

I was speaking to someone who had a hearing listed for 13th May which was adjourned. He has been sent a new date for CMR in October.

I haven't been sent a hearing date yet :(

They wrote to him last Friday.

I'm yet to receive any date - I didn't even make it to the notice of hearing before lockdown.

Congratulations on that. While previously it comes around quickly, you are the only one with successful appeal verdict so we will be watching to see when you get the link; can only pray soon enough.

Oh god really, do you think it’s because the vfs is not opened for new applicants yet? Has your solicitor tried chasing them up?

Yeah it may be due to the backlog the visa centres at Pakistan are facing... they’re slowly starting to return passports of people who completed biometrics around January/February time. Still a long wait but I’ll update you if I hear anything

Within 8 weeks the process of having the visa in your passport will be done. So after withdrawal it can take upto 4 weeks to get an email regarding ihs hopefully sooner . X
