Hey my solicitor did everything I wouldn’t know sorry! The HO got in touch with my solicitor yesterday to provide evidence regarding my financial requirements... not sure what they’re next step will be but I’ll let keep you updated. You heard anything back?

This is good news, it means they are looking in to your case? Have they not asked for evidence before though? Also just wanted to ask did you have a hearing date and was it cancelled due to covid-19? And nope not heard nothing yet, solictor was told everything needs to be in for 7th june and not heard anything

Yeah I’m happy they’re looking into my case. I had a court date on April 17th which was adjourned due to covid-19.

We provided evidence before. Through HMRC they got a false figure of my earnings & they sent an email to send them evidence which shows I earn £18600 +. Insha’Allah all goes well....

Oh okay, did your solicitor submit new evidence or the same when you sent everything in?

As my refusal was based on financial requirements, there’s no new evidence to provide. My solicitor just went in depth regarding the refusal and how my wage slips and hmrc records show at the time of application I was earning above the required amount.

They’ve handed the case back to the decision makers to overturn/grant the Visa and then I’ll have the submit the passport and pay the remaining IHS fees. Still a long process but one step at a time!

Yeah hopefully soon! They should be opening on July 1st but it’s not confirmed as of yet.
I believe they work Monday to Friday and they work fewer hours on Saturday? I’m not entirely sure

I'd suggest looking out for the latest updates on @VFSGlobal on Twitter :) They've been doing a phased reopening around the world from the last week of June.

I'm waiting for them to ask me to submit my passport too.

Yeah, my appeal (here is my full timeline) was allowed on 5 March and I had to wait for 14 days to see if the Home Office appeals against it. But then everything got shut and if was difficult to get updates for a while. When I contacted the HO in May, they informed me that the decision had been sent to the High Commission in my country in April itself. So right now it's just a waiting game.

VFS is opening on 6 July in my country so hopefully, they ask me to submit my passport soon after that. I'll contact the HO again for an update and the procedures in the next couple of weeks.
