Received at call from Home office on the Tuesday 14th January. She rang me at 8am / lasted around 8/10 mins
Asking about my job. Just to verify everything. She was really nice. Allhumduillah.

on the same day she rung my office but our manager wasn’t available to speak and the worker that picked up said ‘ yes she does work here, but I’m not the right person to answer your questions’ and gave her manger personal mobile number’

Now we are waiting for the home office to call manager. Inshallah they call him soon so we can get a decision.

I called UKVI on 30/12/2019 for an update and was told still awaiting a decision!

I called UKVI again on 09/01/2020 for an update and was told still awaiting a decision!

I got a call yesterday from the Home Office but as I was at work I told them I could not speak so we rearranged for a call back in the morning today (17/01/20). The call went well in my opinion, I was asked questions in regards to my Mrs and my work, etc & they said that a decision will be made either today or next week. Please pray for a positive result In Shaa Allah.

It looks like a lot of priority applications were submitted in November and December. This is really worrying because some have not yet recieved a decision. I think decisions are likely to go over the 30 working day period because of this.

Escalated by phone on 16th January. As we have passed the priority time frame of 30 days.

Here is my timeline for my husbands spouse visa.
He is based in lahore and i did priority service.

application submitted online: 22nd Nov 2019

documents submitted at vfs office in london: 27th Nov 2019

biometrics in lahore: 4th Dec 2019

not straight forward email from HO: 14th Jan 2020

employer contacted: 20th Jan (40 min conversation)

sponsor contacted: 20th Jan (22min conversation)

my pervious application was rejected on the basis of incorrect ielts and silly mistakes made by the solicitor!

please pray for me, it is very difficult. i pray Allah gives us strength and reunites us with our loved ones. Ameen. Please pray for me

I.E details of my employment, company turn over, other employees). ( I have been working for this company for 15 years by the way)
Email to solicitor: 4th Dec 2019 ( visa is delayed due to no info from employer and now they have to wait for info from HMRC.
Contacted UKVI: 16th Jan 2020 (54 WD) 'application under consideration'
Emailed UKVI: 21 Jan 2020 (56 WD) 'We have escalated your case ............ to the relevant department on (17/01/2020). You should be contacted regarding your case within 15 working days from the date of escalation.'

I am still waiting (58 WD) My paper work was all fine i do believe all this delay is due to what my employer did. Friday 24th Jan 2020 60WD will be complete. Please pray for me. May Allah make it easy for all of us and reunite us with our loved ones AMEEN.

Well, let me tell you that I have finally received my good news today (25/01/2020) Allahmdulillah

My Mrs received the passport today via courier at her home address and glad to say it came with the approval stamp

(Voicemail saying she will call back tomorrow)

Received email saying “NOT STRAIGHT FORWARD” - 8th January 2020

It’s now 13th January and no call - I called the visa phone number and they said decision still waiting and someone will call back. Hope to hear soon. It’s been 6 weeks since we have summited.

Anyone in the same boat ?! I have my phone with me 24/7!! Just waiting for the call
Update

Received at call from Home office on the Tuesday 14th January. She rang me at 8am / lasted around 8/10 mins
Asking about my job. Just to verify everything. She was really nice. Allhumduillah.

on the same day she rung my office but our manager wasn’t available to speak and the worker that picked up said ‘ yes she does work here, but I’m not the right person to answer your questions’ and gave her manger personal mobile number’

Now we are waiting for the home office to call manager. Inshallah they call him soon so we can get a decision.

Please pray for me!! My timeline is above.
Update -

Escalated by phone on 16th January. As we have passed the priority time frame of 30 days.

And today 17th January I’ve received an email saying -

You may have already been notified of the decision and will be contacted again within the next few days, regarding the return of your documents. However, it is not recommended that you make travel arrangements prior to receiving a decision on your application.

Update - update - update

27th January My Husband Received a call to pick up the passport Allhumduillah he’s received his visa! Allhumduillah.

Decision was made in the 17th January, and received passport on the 27th January. They said there is a lot of rush that’s why the delay.

I payed so much last night literally crying on the prayer mat - Allhumduillah Allah hears all. Don’t loose hope guys!

Allhumduillah we can now start our life together.
