GWF reference not recognised during all this time, but application was successful and visa was granted from 03/10/17-02/11/17

I would advise everyone to use a solicitor in their immigration application. We spend around 1600£ on the visa application... we should also spend a few hundred more on help from the professionals who do it all the time.

Priority Settlement visa

Online Application submitted : 1st August 2017

biometrics enrolled & Passport submission : 9th August - Islamabad, paid for priority service too on this day.

Supporting documents sent to Sheffield on : 15th August 2017

Supporting documents received back from Sheffield on : 18th September 2017

Have had no correspondence from UKVI what so ever, no
Emails no phone calls to me or my Husband & neither employer contacted so far, I've been emailing and all I get back is generic information which makes all the wait really frustrating especially when you've paid so much extra for the priority service & ontop of all this it's stressful enough being separated from your husband.

Phone call made to UKVI 26th September and was told that with priority service the decision should be made by 30th working day and if not made by 27th September I have to call in to escalate case.

Escalated application : 6th October 2017 and have been asked to wait another 20 working days for them to find out why the decision has not been made.

Not sure, which HO processing time SLAs to believe, link in status check website says 95% within 12Weeks and 100% within 24weeks. Decision Of Application :
Validity Of Visa:

28th Jul::: 60 working days (05-May-17 to 28-July-17) have passed since the Bio-metrics.

07th Aug:: 65 working days (05-May-17 to 07-Aug-17) No response whatsoever - not even an email explaining why there is a delay as per their standard policy. Its straight forward application (own a house, x3 salary, UKNARIC assessment reports, no immigration history) so frustrating! Please update your thread guys especially the people who applied in 1st week of May 17.

14th Aug:: 70 working days (05-May-17 to 14-Aug-17) still no response, called again last week Friday to check on the status since the escalation date 28th July, same answer application awaiting decision since 9th May. Not even received an email from this SITEL company that they have escalated my case. However, they said since you have escalated your case, it can only be re-escalated after 15 working days. Mrs. sent an email to home secretary from Lahore Amber RUDD. I've logged a complaint with HO at "complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk" (Questioning SLAs & demanded numbers) and am most likely going to take it to the NEWS as 95% application within 60days is a F-joke OR some of us just happened to be the unluckiest remaining 5% whom has to wait 24Weeks. that's enough rant to Kick-start the Monday.

21st Aug:: 75 working days (05-May-17 to 21-Aug-17) still no response. Wrote a letter and hand signed it to home secretary and requested a response within 5 working days last week. also, sent copy of the letter to local MP and UKVI Sheffield office..

Did any of the May "non-priority" applicants especially from Lahore received their decisions last week.. If you could update your timelines either way.

29th Aug:: 80 working days (05-May-17 to 29-Aug-17 (minus x2 bank holiday) - Frustration at its peak but finally managed to make my voice heard through the wall only to find out "Get the F*** Back mate".

Received a response of an escalation last Saturday 26th Aug; very INFORMAL email (copy below) and not to mention they again breached their 15 working days SLA for response:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we are unable to make a decision on your application within our usual timescale.
Staff at the visa application centres or contact centres have no influence on cases and cannot provide any further advice so we recommend you do not attend or call the contact centre. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre until you have received written confirmation that a decision has been made on your application and that your passport is ready to be collected.
We understand this will be frustrating to you and regret any inconvenience caused.
We will contact you shortly to update you on what is happening
Thank you for your understanding"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Received a response from MP as well on Saturday 26th Aug through post; he attached a copy of an email (dated 23rd Aug) received from the UKVI; and this time HO said, it has been necessary to carry out further inquiries which are remain on going; WHAT? If the further inquiries are being made then i should have had received an email like other people did before jumping up and down; but DID NOT. So two different response again (Escalation vs MP response); which suggests HO are just struggling or may be under staff or who the F** knows.. but they will not do anything about it and continue to make other people(s) lives miserable..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
++ No response from legendary Miss. Amber Rudd yet even though requested a written response within 5 working days..

++ No response of the complaint yet from HO..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Think some of us just happened to be the unluckiest applicants whom might have to just wait 6 Months. Not wasting anymore money, time or effort to chase UKVI again. Not worth it, would have been easier if they had just kept up with their own SLA(s); I hope all of these chasing won't bite back; even if you request MP, Home Secretary to expedite the case for a rapid decision; UKVI won't give a dam about it. Good luck everyone the next update will be once the decision have been received.

Hope some of you will find this ordeal helpful.
09th Sep:: 110 Working days (05-May-17 to 09-Sep-17)

1. Response from Legendary Umber Rudd after 5 weeks only (though requested within 5 working days) containing a liner saying your partner was recently contacted by UKVI. Attached that "31st Oct email" that lot of us received..

2. No Response from HO complaints team; It's been almost 8 weeks since it was made whereas they were suppose to respond to complaints within 20 Working days. I will let your imaginations run wild how well organized and considerate **** **** **** UKVI are....

anyway, happy for those spouse(s) who have received their decisions lately mostly are from ISB & KAR though but did see only one of the "May applicant's" from "Lahore" who finally got lucky.

Can "May applicant's from Lahore" update their timeline here for us.

WAITING IN PROGRESS for me!!!!!

Online: 13/07/17
Bio: 17/07/17 (PRIORITY)
Documents sent: 18/07/17

Documents back: Mid August.

Numerous calls to ukvi. Always same reply 'awaiting decision.' Got told i could escalate my case after 30 days. Afta a 15 min call got an email a week later saying escalation cannot be placed until 60working days are complete. ( all just nonsense to me. just another way for them to make money)

Email from ukvi: 1st October, stating that case is not straightforward but didnt mention 'aiming to make decision before 31st Oct' like others have got.

Contacted by home office: 6th Oct asking details of myself/spouse/job etc. answered everything truthfully.

Now just a waiting game.

Nice to hear quite a few people getting their visas. Congrats guys. May Allah reunite us all with our partners soon. Ameen.
