Great news Nadeem. So happy for you. In Asha's Allah the visa is granted and you can reunite. Please also keep me in your dua. Will keep you updated also. Just waiting on my partner to receive passport back as she handed in Friday.
Did you scan original documents or coloured copies? Do they see originals or not? Like tb test English test etc

I posted my documents including originals to Sheffield. They sent them back 3 weeks ago. You can no longer post them , you have to scan them

Congratulations Nadeem. I'm so happy for you. In Shaa Allah everything is good for you. I just have a few questions?

Did it come with an acceptance letter? When is the letter dated? So they only called you yesterday? When did the decision get sent to them?
When was the visa approved?
When was the vignette issued?
As I'm currently still waiting to hear back from VfS since Friday when my partner handed passport.

Thank you for the help. One again congratulations, so happy for you.

Thanks Fizzy. Wishing same for you Insha Allah
Yes it came with a decision letter that was dated 26th September. Recieved no calls just a text and email yesterday to collect.
The vignette period is from 3rd October to 2nd November.

Thank you for replying so quickly. So it only really took them one day for vfs to call you from when they received the approval. Is there anything they asked your partner when she went to collect or was it just a simple collection? I'm just waiting for the email to collect. What time does the Islamabad vfs work from and too? Guessing emails etc will be sent from them so due to our four hour difference it can occur very early for us not that I kind just waiting to hear back haha. You must be so happy!

Spouse visa - keep my passport option

Post by Fizzy513 » Wed Oct 02, 2019 11:00 am

Hi my partner has applied for spouse visa June 2019. We received an email on 20th September asking her to submit passport at the application centre within 21 days. Does this mean the application has been successful? Will they still require her to submit passport if the application has been refused. I would have thought an email can be sent without the passport.

She has submitted the passport last Friday but we have still not heard anything. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for them to hand passport back once if it's been accepted. The vfs centre we submitted is Pakistan islamabad.

Does anyone have a contact number we can contact them on? Thanks

Hi Nadee, sorry to keep bothering you. Do you know where the visa vignette was issued from? As in was it issued in pakistan or was the passport sent to U.K sheffield? My partner is still waiting for her passport.

My partner handed passport 27th sep. she didn’t receive call or anything. Went to visa centre in Islamabad and it was there and she collected today. Passports etc get sent to Abu Dhabi. Vignette is valid from 4th October till 3rd November. So 6 days already gone by and no one contacted. Not sure how long they would have kept so luckily she went. Best advice is to try once every week if ur handing the passport after the application being submitted.
