Spouse visa

Post by My mum » Wed Nov 27, 2019 10:36 pm

Dear sir/ madam,
I am in a process to apply for a spouse visa for myself but new rules have made it little confusing for me in terms of the way we were supposed to send documents etc. I have noticed they have combined appendix 2 questions in the online application but I was just wondering whether I still have to fill it out separately as they haven't asked enough questions about my partner or about the travelling history for my partner. I would really appreciate your help and I will be looking forward in hearing back from you .
Many thanks,

As a precaution it should be filled and uploaded along with other documents.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

the appendix 2 would have to be printed out, filled and then scanned and uploaded as a supporting document

Where are you applying from? Not heard of cash payment on biometrics day. The priority payment option comes up while paying for application n IHS
n or when booking biometrics appointment.

Someone told me about paying the application fee at biometrics because some countries application process are different and I think it wa someone from Bangladesh who was unable to pay on GOV website but eventually paid at the VAC.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.

I there an issue with being able to pay this before the applicant goes for biometrics? You might want to contact the HO partner to clarify if they accept payment for priority on duty of giving biometrics.

I believe you will need to pay this at the VAC and it will appear people from morocco might fall into that category. If you have finished submitting your application online then you will receive an instructions on how to pay for your application.

Usually on application submission the applicant/sponsor is advised what to bring on appointment.

You need to fill both the Online application and Appendix 2 if you miss one of of them they will refuse to grant you visa. Remember to put your reference Gwf xxxxxx on top of your online application. Take both documents to the biometric

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can help please.

I have just made an application for my wife and have decided to upload the supporting document myself using the edossier webapp. When you upload documents you are required to add each document to a particular group which are:

• Residency
• Employment Evidence
• Financial Evidence
• Sponsor Evidence
• Studies Evidence
• Family Evidence
• Accommodation Temporary or Permanent
• Travel and Residency Documents

I am a bit unsure to which group I need to add my bank statements, payslips and employment/offer letter. Bearing in mind that this is her own application so is a bit confusing if everything about myself as the sponsor should go under sponsor evidence including my own payslips, banks statements and employment letter. A part of think that everything about the finance both from myself and my wife (if applicable) should be attached under the Financial Evidence, while employment/offer letter both myself and my spouse (if applicable)should be under the employment evidence. Those anyone think all sponsor’s documents should only be attached to the sponsor evidence group?

Also, I am presuming that documents like whatspp chat, call history, pictures and all other documents that shows that we are have been in a relation/married should be attached under the family evidence group. Anyone has any a different view?

Be glad if I can get views from those that have used the system in the past, suggestions will be kindly appreciated.

Thank you so much.

KayCee

As already advised, there isn't a bank if sample and template letters. You don't even need a letter and if you do one, it needs to be brief and to the point based on your specific circumstances!!
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Your appointment letter (2 page document)
Your checklist (5page document)
Your passport (which they will keep)
