Spouse Visa - Visa4UK vs Gov.uk (Appendix FM Partner)

Can anyone please help with my query?

My wife is applying for a Spouse visa from India to join me in the UK (My status is settled with ILR).
When we started the application from gov.uk, it redirected to Visa4uk web site where we completed the application and filled appendix 2. We were about to submit but I found that now if you go to gov.uk website and click Apply Now button for spouse visa, it redirects to a form on gov.uk itself rather than Visa4uk.

Are we still ok to submit the application via Visa4uk or we must use the new service ?

I can't really vouch for the validity of the answer below but I asked the same question on a facebook group (for uk spouse visa) and the answer given to me was as follows:

1. Both Access UK & Visa4uk are concurrently in used by HO. We will recommend Access UK as it offers options to self upload while visa4uk doesn’t.

Sorry to bump this, but can I ask as you filled in Appendix 2? Where did it mention to do this on the gov website?
I applied the same way but did not fill in no appendix 2 because I didn't see it anywhere to do it?
Do you have a link asking it to be done?

Since Appendix 2 has exactly same questions as Access UK, it shouldn't be required and its not mentioned as a requirement anywhere, but when I was self-uploading documents on VFS Global website, it had a separate section for uploading Appendix 2. Since I had already filled it when I used old process, I uploaded it anyway.

Yes I am under the same impression that it's not required as it does not mention it, I on the website uploaded the actual application form where it said APPENDIX 2 however, but since it does not state it anywhere to add it from the access uk site, I think it would be fine also..
