Still waiting for a decision.....

Hi evryone!
I m so happy to share with you my experience with the famous spouse visa after 4 months of waiting , yesterday i got my visa.
Application : 19/07 NON PRIORITY (self-employed)
Documents sent to Ukvi : 25/07
I received an e mail from ukvi telling me just wait and my app still under process : 05/10
My lawyer sent email to ukvi service to escalte the case : 06/11
UKVI service answer me and my lawyer in : 10/11 telling us just wait , my appl is under process like all applications
My documents were returned back to the lawyer in :23/11
Same date my application changed to the green colour and my husband receive an email to go to collect the passport
Getting my passport back with VISA : 24/11

Yesterday marked the 60th day (12 week) since my biometric, so i decided to email them and ask for update. I got an email this morning stating the decision has been made ( ) Some time later in the day i got another email from vsf global stating visa application has been received followed by an email from Gerry for collection.
This is going to be the longest weekend ever to find out the outcome of my application...But in some ways i am glad that whatever the outcome, i didn't have to wait months as many of u all have (and faced with rejection) and i do pray for u all that you hear soon and it goes in your favor Inshallah. No doubt its tough time!!

Will update when my husband gets the decision .

After my enquiry I got a email saying the following
Final processing stages does anyone have any idea how long does last stages take for this to process. Waiting since may 31. Applied from Colombo Sri lanka

Non priority application (29 aughust 17)
No emails from HO in between of any sort. i emailed the 11th week for a status update and was told it under process.
Passport collect: Monday 27/11
Visa Refused
Reason: i dint supply 6 month of wage slips for my second job (which is nonsense as i did)
: we submitted ielts General and they said i should have provided Academic..

I dont know what to do now? any good advise please...

Got a refusal aswell. on basis of documents not submitted however i did submit them, infact i submitted twice once with the visa application and second time when they emailed me requesting the same documents. they also mentioned that the IELTS test certificate wasnt valid even though the test results much higher than the requirements. do you guys think i should appeal? I know I should be okay to appeal on basis of documents but not too sure about the IELTs. if i get the UKNARIC and submit this with the appeal, would this work?

Start a new thread with documents you provided and with exact refusal letter wording without the personal details so you can get better advise.

If UK Naric wasn't available at the time of decision they'll not consider it.

your refusal is similar to mine. what action did u take please?

So sorry to hear about your refusal. You have to apply again new application with all documents. if you go for appeal it will take so long and its your own mistake not to submit you payslips. And for the ielts i will suggess you to do IELTS for life skills which is easy to do and submit.

My fiance applied on 26th September from Albania

It wasn’t my mistake I did apply with6 months payslips it’s still in my file which I haven’t touched since it was returned from the the HO ..even thou the ielts was higher score B1 isn’t that sufficient to prove he can speak English ?

I applied 31 may from sri Lanka and still waiting anyone who applied in may or June still waiting?

Biometric and passport submitted 15th May 2017 and until now still waiting.... This is to much already, they are ruin lives. We are planning to celebrate Christmas and New year in Taiwan but we have to postpone it coz I don't have my passport with me. And am scared to get my passport back maybe they will consider is we withdraw my application.
This wait is such an headache and stressful.

Yes I got not straight forwarded email twice actually.
But the long wait worth it..

I have been refused about two months ago and I still haven't received my documents and IHS payment back.
The documents was sent to Sheffield.

After how long are you meant to receive you documents back after refusal.

When did you get married? Did you provide photos of both of you?

Hi guys, just wondering what are the restrictions for my spouse to travel back to India for a summer holiday with me next year?

She just landed 3 weeks ago so I'm not sure if she needs to stay in the country for a certain time before she can travel.

Any help would be appreciated.
