It really has been a waiting game this year. Hope tomorrow's result is what we have been waiting for. At the best of times you lose faith but my prayers are with you all for the perfect outcome, because that's what god is. SAT NAAM (Truth is the name)
We gave over and beyond what was required by HO. To the extent of acquiring signed statements from my bank manager. HO wanted latest payslips and chat messages. All provided in abundance. No interview call.
Will keep you posted. Everyone's time will come. Bless you all and mankind.
Visa for spouse and child issued. Valid from 25th Dec. Only passports were delivered. I wish everyone a successful outcome. God bless. Sat
Congratulations
I've just got a full refund for ihs.
Don't think the outcome is going to be good for me

Don't think the outcome is going to be good for methe refund does sound like a bad outcome, however considering HO you just don't know what they are doing. I pray you hear some good news soon.

Can you please tell us what question thy asked u and ur partner?Gujarkhan wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 11:29 pmWe had our joint interview last week and it has now been 9months of waiting since biometrics. I was interviewed on phone and husband on video both at the same time. Has anybody had any experience of this and how long they have taken to get back with a decision.
The person on the phone mentioned that this would be the final thing needed and I should hear back quite quickly but it just makes me nervous all this waiting.
Would anyone also be able to clarify that under the eco guidance that it states if you are going to refuse no interview should be conducted and it was also mentioned on the phone all background checks and paper work has been checked and this interview was clearly done to ask how well we know each other which I can without a doubt state we know each other inside out which is why interview went very smoothly. So if I was going to get refused an interview would not need to take place ?

These are the exact words I received for each of the 4 escalations I had done and then after 7 months since biometrics they made their decision.Bilal4500 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 5:57 amRecived this email yesterday

Questions were very simple. Anyone who is in a geniune marriage would be able to answer them. I was just worrying uneccesarily if you know and love your partner truely theres no reason to even talk about the interview. We didnt even mention it when chatting as we wanted our answers to be from the heart. By the grace of God i feel he is my soulmate and we will be reunited very soon. It is the wait that is killing me.

I had a look at all the paperwork I had submitted for my wife and realised just how much information there is to process by HO. First big requirement would be whether your relationship is genuine and for that HO needs to be so thorough and require so much evidence. This is only been made worse by the few from countries such as India and Pakistan who have abused the system thus leading to such stringent measures by HO.Bilal4500 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 6:03 pmOk i applied at 20 june 2018, its been 6 months man, i knw why thy taking so longasingh42 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 3:52 pmThese are the exact words I received for each of the 4 escalations I had done and then after 7 months since biometrics they made their decision.Bilal4500 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 5:57 amRecived this email yesterday

Khayrulewara wrote: ↑Tue Dec 25, 2018 11:25 pmIt really is hard waiting for a decision. I've been waiting since January 2018 with nothing. They made my husband do his biometrics again in October and they sent his passport back because the old one had expired and asked for a new one he gave new passport bak 3 days later. And now I recieved a full refund for ihs. I'm confused. My life is turning upside down and my kids r hurting my ill daughter especially. I wish theybwouldnt do this to us. It hurts so bad and home office people don't seem human to me. They don't realise how many lives they put at stake because of this. If i get refused after waiting nearly a year I'll be devastated. Because I heard when u get full refund they refuse ur case. I wish this isn't the case for me. Please please keep me in ur prayers.
Hi Badger, did you send supporting documents yourself in the UK or did the Visa Centre in Moscow send them? Asking as I am not sure whats the best way to do it.Badger 7 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 08, 2018 6:45 pmHello everyone, I thought I would share my visa application experience with you,as I have read through these forums while I was waiting for mine. I hope that this post will give people some hope and faith in the visa process.
I am a British citizen my wife is russian we married in Cyprus on 18th January 2018
We got engaged on the 16th sept 2017
Applied for spouse visa 12th sept 2018
Biometrics done in Moscow 13th sept 2018
Documents sent and received by home office 14th sept 2018
(Non priority) due to having a tourist visa rejected
We were advised by a immigration solicitor not to go priority as it would waste £500
Decision made 7th nov 2018
Passport ready 7th nov 2018
Passport collected 8th nov 2018
Visa granted.
This was a none priority visa and only took 8-9 weeks very happy with how the home office proccesed it so quickly.
My advise to anyone applying is send all your whatsapp conversation, video calls everything they want from you, you give them and more.
Never lie or try to hide anything from them as this will lead to a not straightforward email!
Which will then make the process even longer.
And may result in them phoning you and your place of Work to make sure you are not a complete fraud!
We had a tourist visa rejected we made sure we told them of this so as not to hide anything.
I used a very good solicitor which cost a lot of money and so did the visa. But love is worth more than silver or gold!
So good luck people with you’re applications
If you want to ask anything I will reply with an honest answer

It's so sad and I know nothing I say can be much of help to you but I pray dearly you get a good response soon. Please try to keep your mind off it as that is the only measure we have against this stressful time. My wife for 7 months just felt low all the time and I just couldn't help her. The struggles of our lives overwhelm us but nothing is in our control with regards to HO. In the darkest of times hope is something we give to ourselves that is the meaning of inner strength.
Have you tried pleading your case to your MP stating your daughter's situation? If possible you may want to write to various departments in HO stating your urgency.
Congratulations and good luck. Hope all works out. Hope we get our answer soon too waiting since JanuaryGujarkhan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 10:27 amAfter 9 months and one week finally received email to collect passport. This forum helped me on sleepless nights and gave me that little encouragment to hold it out for that one more week when the decision didnt come through. Don't ever lose hope.
My husband was finally granted his visa after 9 months and 1 week. He collected his passport today and is flying out tomorrow. Please keep your hopes up and keep updating as the little updates give each other motivation.
God bless you all and may you all unite with your spouses.
